I put these on about a week ago. Prior to that we had the typical acrylic mesh rug pads under two runners in our hallway. I was constantly (multiple times a day) moving the runners back in place. Since I’ve put these pads on the runners haven’t moved at all. I don’t love that they are attached to the rug with adhesive, but I DO love not having to constantly reposition the rugs. I've tried alot of different things to keep my rugs in place and these are by far the best. I have dogs that love to move my rugs and these work! I love them so much I have bought them several times. They don't last forever so they do have to be replaced occasionally. When they start to lose their stickiness I just clean them with soap and water, let them air dry and they are like new again. ... show more

I happened across these small carpet grippers in one of those annoying unsolicited ads while reading an unrelated article. Just so happened, I was experiencing the corners of the carpet runners In our kitchen. Thin carpet runners, that when walking onto, our shoes catch the corners which ends up causing the corners to slightly turn up. Rolling the corners in the opposite direction became futile, which now was causing a dangerous tripping hazard. So, I bought two sets of four small square pads. With as thin as the carpets are, I was afraid these pads would cause a rise in the edges making the matter worse. But, after putting a pad on each of the “eight” corners, the corner curling has be eliminated “completely,” the sticking material that sits on the floor (marble floor in out case, has kept the carpets flat against the floor such that the vacuum cleaner doesn’t move the carpet or the corners an inch! Whatever material the bottom of these pads use is not any kind of glue. So, no fear of damaging the floor. They peel right up, then go back to ensuring a non-slip rug. (As to whether the adhesive used on the pad where it affixes to the carpet, even if an never come of, me not knowing one way or the other, I could care less. Two big problems solved! Carpet doesn’t move and, no more corners rolling up causing a hazard! Great product! ... show more

We’ve been using these for about 2 months now and overall they’re holding up fairly well. We bought an 8-pack. Put 4 on our entryway runner, and it hasn’t moved at all. We put the other 4 on our garage door rug, and that’s not sticking as well because the dogs like to run over it and use it as a bed. Just cleaned the pads with a Mr Clean Magic Eraser the other day, though, and now they’re sticking great again! I haven’t tried washing the rugs with the pads on yet. I’m a little nervous about that, but would definitely put the rug in a linen bag if I did. I really wanted something that wouldn’t damage my hardwood floors or leave residue, and they definitely have kept my floors in great shape! ... show more

These pads are so far amazing! They apply quickly and easily. The rugs can be gently lifted to wash the floor. I am using on hardwood, tile and marble floors and when lifted no residue is left. Then they are replaceable. Stops rug movement period if you use pads on the 4 corners and the sides of the rugs. Rugs are light weight to heavy braided rugs. All are now secure on the floors. How long they last and washability not yet tested. However, If they last for 5-6 months and are not great after washing I would still rate them a 5/5 because of safety and decorative value. ... show more
