I was hesitant to buy this even after reading other reviews. Every single piece I received was in great condition (no cracks or anything). None of the wood had any weird chemical smell (I saw this in a few reviews). The wood isn’t solid oak or anything, it’s more of your standard thick furniture plywood with the nice weathered wood pattern. Each piece was relatively easy to put together (I would suggest using a drill even though the instructions say otherwise, you can only get things so tight by hand). On the bed frame, one or two of the holes didn’t line up perfectly with the supports below to the drill came in handy for making new holes. Overall this set has been a dream! ... show more

Instructions are limited and pieces aren't all marked. Bed is hard to line up and put in 21 screws. Not worth the time and energy. Spend a little more and get a better quality bed

Product came damaged. Predrilled holes do not align with support beams causing splitting in the particle board. Thus causing an unsturdy bed frame. All products are very cheaply made.
