I just received the bread box today. First, it is lightweight and large enough for a loaf of bread and some additional items. Two negative notes, it is very thin metal and the top lip on my bread box was not perfectly aligned/flush, so there's a gap on the left side which is not on the right. It doesn't affect the slide of the lid though. In addition, this was poorly packed and when I opened the outside box, the inside box was already opened on both sides with the item banging around inside the boxes. I don't know if it was in transit or before, but the lid has a small dent in it. I was surprised that it's not more severely damaged considering how poorly packed it was. Overall, it's a fine bread box. Not very well packed and overpriced sightly for what you get. I paid 19.59, but seeing the item think it's closer to a15.99 value. I would definitely not pay not than 19.59, though. ... show more

I occasionally have mice in my kitchen so I put anything 'bread' in this bread box. Love the color, easy-open 'door' and it will hold and protect two loaves of bread, plus some hamburger buns or donuts.

I ended up getting a refund because I received an email that my package was damaged by UPS. The breadbox then was out of stock on Amazon, so I ordered the same one (same seller) through Walmart. The breadbox is beautiful! It looks exactly as pictured and I believe it’s slightly bigger than any standard breadbox I had in the past. I love the color. Keeps my bread and rolls fresh for up to a week! Although the breadbox from Walmart arrived fine, I can see why my first one got damaged. It came in a huge package (way bigger than the box) and absolutely no protection - not even any paper/plastic wrapped around it. Since it’s the same seller - whether you order through Amazon or Walmart, just be aware, that there’s a good chance you may have to jump through a few hoops to eventually get a not-dented breadbox. I’d really encourage the seller to use smaller boxes and use some filling material! ... show more

This product is lightweight and looks clean and sleek. The issue is they are made very cheaply and quality control is obviously terrible. The first one I ordered arrived and as shown in photos provided the lid was completely dented and bent which didn’t allow it to slide easily or close without being crooked. Luckily Amazon immediately sent me a new replacement without having to return the other which I appreciate not having that hassle. But the second one wasn’t a whole lot better but after some bending and tweaking my husband was able to make it look decent and more functional so I kept it, mainly because I just really didn’t want to hassle with a second return. I would not recommend this product to others nor would I purchase again. ... show more
