This shelf is a lifesaver! I needed a "closet" in a hurry for my own and my son's clothes -- our apartment is tiny, so the footprint is important. I had a great, all steal clothes rack. Until it broke in half. I bought this hoping it would work. It was the 450-pound holding I was hoping for. When it arrived, I opened it up, it was put together in 20 minutes! This is an awesome product. Super strong and well made. It's great! and by the way... it's super strong! I wanted to add this important option. You don't have to put the wheels on this. When putting it together just leave them off if you don't plan on moving it around. Having the wheels on these racks is what causes the real weight weakness. That's how my last one broke in half. It was metal and it turned into a real piece of garbage. It finally just collapsed. The 450-pound limit on this is for real. It's super strong. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to assemble this rack with minimal effort (I can't even put a puzzle together...). Instructions are adequate. The rack is able to handle a massive amount of clothes. My advice is to assemble this rack in the room you are going to use it - especially if it's going upstairs (DUH). ... show more

I got the gold and it’s a flat mustard pea green yellow color. I thought it would be shiny gold, I never would have gotten this color. They shipped it via usps so if your post office is weird like many are it’s something to consider, I had to pick it up at the post office because even though it said it was gonna be delivered today and that it was out for delivery I guess maybe because it’s super heavy it didn’t make it on the truck so I picked it up, who knows but I got the box undamaged, and all of the stuff was well packed and the poles were shrink wrapped and zip tied to the inside in between 2 of the shelves but despite this when I took the plastic shrink wrap off the poles were scuffed up so they packaged them that way but since the color is split pea soup yellow green instead of the shiny gold I was hoping for I don’t care about the scuff marks really because the whole thing is ugly to me now. They know no one’s going to return something that is this big and requires as much effort as this would require to return it plus it is a quality product, I have it in a spare room that’s kind of like walk in closet and a big giant pea soup green rack doesn’t go with my aesthetic in there at all. With all that being said, it is big, it is sturdy, and it holds a lot of clothes, and it moves easily on its wheels just don’t get the gold. ... show more

I was already impressed when I opened the box and saw how sturdy the poles were. And also with it's height. Watch your clearance when moving it BTW. It's easy to assemble, you just need a screwdriver that's not provided. I was able to assemble it alone. If you decide to use the hooks for the sides decide where you want to place them b4 adding the shelves. It's easy to undo if you forgot to hang the hooks first like I did it just added an extra step that was unnecessary. It's overall very sturdy and doesn't feel like it's gonna fall apart when moving it. I'm very happy with it. ... show more
