I bought this shelf a couple months ago, and needless to say I'm a massive fan! It was easy to assemble by yourself and the instructions were clear. It's shockingly sturdy and even includes braces you can attach to the wall to make it tip proof. The measurements listed are also accurate to a T, allowing it to fit in smaller spaces. We have two of these and they look very good filling some space on a two story wall. assembly was simple and all hardware was included. It's hex bolt construction which I find easier to deal with. Two knocks that prevent it from getting five stars: The letter stickers for assembly instruction do not come off easily leaving sticky residue behind and the shelves are laminated with a wood print plastic that appears to be heat shrunken onto some board. This distorts the design in places, but it's mostly hidden by the frame. it also bubbles up in the sides in places, but it's not that noticeable. I've had it for a year and the bubbles are small and have not spread. I'm not worried about them. ... show more

I’m using these shelves in a homeschool classroom so they need to be strong and nice looking as well. I can easily fill each shelf with 3-ring binders with extra space above them. These shelves are a nice width and depth for school textbooks and bi Dre’s as well. There’s a few inches of floor space below the bottoms shelf so I can store crayon boxes or reams of paper. Thanks to the open back & sides I can plug in a printer without cords being unsightly in the room. After just a couple days the shelves appear to be as durable as advertised. There is a metal bar under each the width of each shelf so I’m hopeful that I can keep them mostly loaded long term without warping or bowing in the middle. The distributor shipped them in a timely manner & everything arrived in good condition.
