The product is what it says it is. My first pair tore a bit at the band and will have to sew it. I recommend you buy a size smaller than what you actually wear for compression.

I bought these for my husband. He is a contractor and working hard all day often in the heat and he suffers from terrible chafe in between his legs. I bought him these and they provide great support, protecting his legs from rubbing together and also keeping his crown jewels separate from his legs so they don't get chafed either. They're lightweight and don't make him hot and he finds then very comfortable. He also wears them in the gym or while hiking under his gym or hiking shorts. He loves the length of the leg.
