I replaced my closet light with this fixture, it works well! The way to change colors is kind of annoying because it cycles through them when it’s turned off and on again. It does not come with a switch that lets you select the color as my wife thought it did from the pictures. It does not use the ground wire and it does not screw into the light box. It has 3 screws around the perimeter that just screw into the drywall ceiling and a small hole for the hot and neutral to come through. It works and looks good but I would prefer a way to set it to a LED color and make it stay that way. For that I deducted a star cause you never know what color white your gonna get. ... show more

I really wanted to like this lamp. When I opened the package. I was very impressed with the beauty of it, especially with the little windows on the side. But I also noticed how extremely lightweight this is, even compared to another LED ceiling light that I installed later.. Being pleased with the looks and this also matching the size of the old fixture I decided to give it a go and upgrade to LED So removing the ancient fixture was not really difficult at all, even though it had been there 30 years. So once I got it off I followed the instructions which said that the easy installation method they have for this was to simply insert the hot leads into the push and release clips that are showing in the photo. I don't know who engineered this, but in the USA hot leads in my house are much thicker than those little tiny clips can accept. Okay, well I look at the unit and see that I could take the clips off and just use the old standard and better method of wire clips. So I take the clips off and find out that the leads are not only super thin and only have about a quarter of an inch of wire exposed on the end, they're only about 4 in long. Well my hand is wider than 4 in and there was no way I could use the wire nuts because I couldn't get my hand in to tighten them between the lamp and the ceiling. Generally a contractor will cut the hot leads to ceiling lamps very short. On mine they were less than 2 in and that includes the exposed wire. So I actually ended up giving up on this since I had another ceiling fixture that was also LED that was going to go in my office. I went and grabbed that fixture which had 10 inch leads and no clips. Used the wire nuts and got it mounted on the ceiling easily. The manufacturer really needs to rethink this. Take a careful look at the pictures. ... show more
