We ordered this to add on to our outdoor playground we built for our kids. I used a slack line through the top to screw into the playground to make it sturdy and strong throughout the whole top. We just anchored it into the ground with several anchors at the bottom. But we did it at an angel so that the kids climb up at a slope. But overall I love this! Wow, this net is so much fun! I had 6 kids on it at once, aged from 5 to 9 years old. They jump, roll, fall, fly around on this thing. I love the rainbow colors and that the net is doubled. It is very durable, no rips or tears as of yet. I hung it from 4 trees with no extra hardware (just used what it comes with). It is very forgiving and not stiff. The media could not be loaded. I was so looking forward to this for my kids! As soon as it came out of the box, I noticed one of the outer pieces that all of the netting pieces attach to had frayed. It is sturdy and durable, but the price seems so high for what it is. If kids are playing in it they need to be supervised because it isn’t easy getting in or out of. Can be used as a cargo net, that’s a plus or for climbing. I use it as a giant hammock. Installation needs special care because the location needs to be square and the proper length for it to work properly if used as a safety net. ... show more

We are always looking for new ways for our kids to be entertained outside. This net is a great addition to our swings, playscape, and ninja course. It has easily held 4 boys ages 5-9 at the same time. The biggest challenge is finding 4 trees that are situated approximately 10 feet apart at 90-degree angles. My best option had 1 tree that was about 12 feet away from the group. I had to use a swing hanging strap that I had left over from another tree project. Also, 1 of the trees was just a little too far away to get the strap all the way around, so I had to use an extension strap. I've had to raise it up once, as the kids are hitting the ground in the middle. I expect it will need another adjustment as they continue to break it in. It has been great so far. My only recommendation would be the addition of a strap or 2 to aid in hanging it up (or to lengthen the existing straps to give more flexibility). ... show more

This would be most ideal if you're building a playset or already have posts set at the right distance. We didn't do that. We went the hard route. ha We have lots of wooded space with an openish field that has a slackline on it. So I wanted more things for the kids to climb on and ordered this before truly thinking it all thru. We had to find four trees in just the right placement. That was hard. And then it took some time getting all the corners at the right height so kids could climb on easily but also not touch the ground when on it (much like if you've ever hung a slackline or ninja ropes course). But once we got it, it was a huge hit. My four kids love it! They can climb on it, have a picnic on it, lay on it, bounce each other on it, play games on it.... it's a great addition to our play space. I'd say it's best for ages 5-12 but that hasn't stopped my 13 & 15 year olds from enjoying it. ... show more
