So far I really like this smart watch. The watch is big, but it's comfortable and not too big for a medium wrist size and up. I like the way this watch looks. This paired relatively easily, but Not on the first several tries with the QR CODE. I finally gave up on the QR code and Installed the app, and then discovered the watch on blue tooth. With the app you do have to register for a user account etc. After installing and getting the user account setup in the app, I was then able to manually add the watch from the app, which worked the first time. This seems to be way more accurate than my Amazfit BIP on step counting. Doing a 4 mile walk gave me 8588 steps, and at the end of the day with normal activity I had 10K+ steps. My Amazfit usually only show 6700 steps at the end of a 4 mile walk and 8000 by the end of the day. I pretty much just use steps as a guide to my overall activity, so not a big deal, but it feels more accurate which is nice. The other fuctions, like Blood pressure seem off quite a bit, but again, I don't think the wrist is an appropriate place to measure BP, so again, I just use this has a guide, but I like that it is a continual and automatic reading. I have made a phone call from the watch, it's not great, but works in a pinch. The mic is just ok, and the speaker is clear enough, but overall not as good as a Apple watch. Not a big deal for me, since I use ear buds or headphones. There is really nothing irritating or unusual about the functions on this watch, the screen works and is nice and clear with decent resolutions. It works as advertised and is reasonably priced. My only slight problem is the ability for custom watch faces doesn't let you display all the stats you want so you have to select from a list of faces and functions to turn on and it's limited. Overall for the price, the watch looks nice performs well and give you about 5-6 days of battery. If you use the always on function it will shorten down to maybe 2-3 days. I can't really give it 5 stars, but a good solid 4, as there are so many other watches in this price range and I can't compare them all. It comes with a bonus 2 wrist bands, extra strap pins and a charge cable. Overall a good value sports watch. Update: After my second charge on this watch with normal use I got almost 8 days of use. In my mind anything over a week is great for a watch like this. That's good for another 1/2 of a star... which may make this a price leader in its class. ... show more

First thing I aways check for smart watches is the vibration settings for alarms and notifications. This is the first watch I have tried that has a low and high setting for vibration, thank goodness. For daily use, a strong vibration mode is key for me. It can wake me up in the morning without waking up the rest of the house. The menu is pretty standard. There are 100+ watch faces and many I have seen before but that's fine. I prefer a more conservative look for the watch face, but it's nice to have lots of options. The blood pressure monitor is right on as well as sleep tracking. I like how data is displayed in the app for sleep tracking. Overall, this is a solid watch. I am only using the nylon band because I prefer the low key aesthetic. The leather band looks nice and I may switch to it at some point. ... show more

So far, so good... for the most part. The good: 1. It's an attractive watch, including the display choices 2. It charges fairly quick 3. It has several features, most of which appeared to be accurate including blood oxygen and heartbeat rate 4. It comes with two different bands. The one that comes on it appears to be rubber, and a second one with a nice design that appears to be leather, or maybe faux leather. 5. It comes with a screen protector 6. Fairly easy setup through screen prompts The not-so good: 1. The instructions that come with it are pretty useless. The screen prompts help, but if you're not familiar with smart watches, you're going to have to play with the different screens for a while before understanding the options available to you. Not being familiar with smart watches, it took me a minute to realize you could scroll through screens. Maybe that's user error, but that's what written instructions are for. 2. The step count is highly questionable in certain circumstances. I wanted this watch to help me track steps while playing golf. While I was on the course, I'd regularly check to see the steps. During a test when I first put it on, I took 24 steps and checked the watch... +24 steps. I took another 13 steps and checked the watch... +13 steps. Sounds good, right? Wait, when I swung the golf club, it counted more steps. Worse yet, while I was driving and had the watch on, it somehow counted another 80 steps. That's really not good in my opinion. If there is a way to freeze the step count while not active, it would be helpful to have instructions to explain this. Unfortunately, I've not discovered this yet. 3. The watch is connected to my phone, but I've yet to see a text message go from my phone to watch. It also has no records of any calls, etc. 4. It apparently can control my phone camera, but without instructions, I can't figure out how to make it work. In all, I like the watch, but it really all comes down to not knowing how to properly use it because there are no instructions. Perhaps over time I'll learn to like it more, but it shouldn't be so difficult. If I can't figure out how to use the features, it's as good as those features simply not working. My score accounts for that. I've not yet tried to make a call from it the watch, although I'm skeptical. If you like the style of this watch, which I do, purchase knowing you'll need to spend a fair amount of time trying to figure out how the features work. ... show more
