These chairs were an upgrade to the ones inhd before. I had swivel chairs with higher backs, but they were not sturdy. These chairs were easy to assemble, seem to be very sturdy, even the cross bar in front is sturdy. Make sure you protect your chairs with fabric spray. This is my first review ever but honestly these deserve it. I’ve been eyeing the RH counter stools for some time but they’re very expensive. They are such good quality. My only thing is I wish the seams were straighter but whatever the comfort and sturdiness is top quality
