I really looked through reviews before purchasing this light. We are not electricians. My husband has replaced lights in the past, so he is familiar with the process. Everyone said how beautiful this light is and how straight forward the instructions are- I don’t know if they received free product or a promo but I did not find this to be the case at all. This light took us 3 hours to put up. The nuts didn’t fit on the screws. The diagram is not labeled so you are not sure which screws go where. Parts aren’t labeled in the instructions so that’s also confusing. We had to add 3 washers under the fixture caps because it wasn’t flush and none of the nuts fit on the screws. Overall, it was a giant PITA. But I agree, the finished product is beautiful and it goes well in my space. ... show more

I purchased two - one for an entryway and one for a hallway. The shade creates a beautiful pattern on the ceiling and walls, but because the bottom of the fixture is open it provides a large amount of light. Easy to install!
