If you want a flip phone this one is a great option. The bonus to having this flip phone in its basic nature is that it does have google maps on it; so that’s a helpful option that isn’t in many basic phone options. It does not have an Apple Store it will be the Kios one and as a person who doesn’t need apps having the option is nice, the quality of those apps would have to be up to people who use them regularly. The rings have Barbie themes in them which is cute, along with Barbie health tips on detoxing. No cute Ken message that some people mentioned, but that might only be on the international versions. So make sure you buy for the right region. It does not have T9 text messaging, it does have something similar with ABC predict which you will have to scroll over to find the right word. It slows down your ability to text if you have mastered T9, but once you learn it I’m sure you be fast like you were with the other method. It does have emojis and the ability to receive those and send pics without downloading data like some make you do. I have prepaid Verizon on it, and it worked right away. My SIM card didn’t fit quite right and to save time and money I shaved one side, the plastic part, and it fit just fine. It has clear voice and better reception from my old flip phone. The other pink cases you can switch out is very nice in design. The hot pink reminds me of the Barbie convertible car and the soft plastic feels like Barbie’s Mattel toys would feel like. It gives me the childlike joy of getting a Barbie from my grandmother every year, so it adds that sentimental feeling when picking it up. The only true complaint I would have is the reflective mirror on the top case. I was never a person who liked to check my face often so that isn’t a useful feature to me. I find it distracting when light catches it. I just wished it gave me an option to switch out the top case because of that. I will just put a vinyl over it but that’s me fixing it to my preference. As a consumer the downfall would be lack of Bluetooth. Outside of that I see it as a good starter phone, detox phone, senior phone, or anyone who just doesn’t want a smart phone. ... show more

I have so much praise for this little phone! It’s a perfect size, it works great, it’s easy to use. I love the color of it. I grew up in the early 2000s and this just fits the vibe so well with the design and the accessories. The battery life is amazing. I used it all day yesterday and it was at 80% when I got home. I got this as a tool to help me unplug and detox from my phone addiction. But honestly, I might just keep using this full time. Definitely worth it for me! ... show more

I bought this as gift for tech lover. She loved the exterior and unique design of it. I would say the it’s good it actually function like regular phone but you cannot use any any social media. I would say it’s fairly lightweight. So far it has long lasting battery function. The sound quality is ok again you cannot compare to the phones like Samsung or apple. I would say overall if you wnat get this phone for your children to call you but you don’t want them to have social media and have pretty looking phone this is great option specially for its price. ... show more

I really do like this phone. It's cute and says "Hi, Barbie!" when you power it on. I was able to convert my spotify playlist to mp3 format and transfer it to this phone. It has google maps so I can check my bus times. (Something I was worried about) . You can go on the internet, it's not super fast or anything but it works. As for messaging, I get text messages no problem. When it comes to images it seems to be a hit or miss, I can send them just fine. But sometimes when people send me images, it sometimes never loads, if someone send me an image on Monday, i'll receive it Tuesday . Same with videos. But sometimes I get the images just fine . I haven't figured out the reason for this. The phone comes with some pre-installed games. Theres an app store with some stuff for download nothing exceptional. But it's a dumb-phone. Have no problem calling others, or others calling me. I saw a review saying the battery life was bad. In my opinion it's great. It last a long time, even if I have internet sharing on. ... show more

    • NO BLUETOOTH NOT VERIZON COMPATIBLE
Honestly, probably a 5 star phone because it does work very well. Good signal, easy to use, super cute, and love the accessories. Standard Nokia quality so a really decent phone. However, it is NOT compatible with Verizon or Xfinity. And it does NOT have the Bluetooth function. The last one really made me want to give this 1 star because this is just a really dumb feature to not provide on the US version. All of the online resources for the phone are for the UK version. HUGE bummer on the Bluetooth. Couple that with fact that I can't use the barbie ear buds with it and I'm just bitter about it. As I watched my 10 year old excitedly wait for me to pair the two only to then disappoint. I'm annoyed and my review reflects this. ... show more

If you’re looking for a phone that has more up to date features such as touchscreen, Bluetooth and the Google play store, this is not the phone for you. I was shocked to see that despite this phone coming out in 2024, all of its features are somehow painfully outdated. There’s no Google play store, no YouTube app (yes you can use YouTube via the internet browser but it likely will run the battery up quicker and causes the phone to heat up pretty quickly) and the only games you can play are VERY outdated retro games (like snake retro). My $90 2017 LG Folder X100 comes with more functionality than this phone. I’d really hoped that this would be the Y2K dumbphone of my dreams given that the design is so cute but without YouTube, Google play and Bluetooth, I have no use for this phone other than keeping it around for novelty purposes. Also, for some reason, I was given two of the same phone shells, never got the swirly one which was the one I really wanted. ... show more
