I've been riding with HJC helmets for years but this is the first one of their modular helmets I've bought. I bought the same size of my other HJC helmets, (large) it was tight in the beginning but now has conformed to the shape of my head. The mechanism that operates the chin bar works easier than my other modular helmet (another brand) even with a gloved hand. The face shield has tabs on both the left and right side making it easy to raise with either hand. It's also much quieter than I thought it would be. it's as quite an my non-modular HJC full face helmets. The way that the internal sun visor operated is easy once you get use to it, my other Full Face HJC helmet had the old mechanism on the top of the helmet. The vents are easy to operate and allow pretty good airflow. The speaker pockets made it easy to add the speakers for my Sena intercom. I would buy it again. Update: I ended up installing the XL cheek pads in this helmet. On longer rides the helmet started squishing my face to the point of becoming uncomfortable. This is my second HJC modular helmet. I wore the previous model (IS-Max II) for 5 years and thought it was a very good helmet until I ordered the i90. I’m very impressed with the improvements that were made. The fit and finish is very much improved. Everything about it is better than the last model. The padding inside is better, the drop down goggles have different settings and can drop way down to help minimize road glare, the face shield feels more precise and has tabs on both sides, and It is a lot quieter than the previous model (about 80% less wind noise). It runs small. My cowboy/ working cattle hats are a 6 3/4 - 6 7/8. I've always worn a medium helmet. According to their charts, I should wear an extra small. No way. This medium was very snug. It borders on hard to get on. Every time I try it on in hopes of keeping it, every time I decide nope. Other than that, it's everything I was wanting in a helmet. DOT & ECE. I like the placement and function of the lever for the sun shield. I like everything about it. Except the size. Most likely exchange it. ... show more

For the price you really can't beat this helmet. Like 200 bucks and it's a flip up. Fits perfect for my pumpkin head. Comfortable! Nice visibility through shield optically perfect! But it's a little loud at speed. Not a perfect world!

I recieved my i90 yesterday and went on a 1 1/2 hour ride today. I have not had a full Face helmet in over 20 years so I was sceptical about the venting keeping my head Cool as I live in a very hot and humid climate (Philippines). It was over 30 C today and quite humid. I was very impressed that my head was not full of swerte as is usually the cease with my old helmet. Visor up or down, chin up or down, it did not matter. This 2022 i90 fits more snugly that the i90 I purchased in 2020. There appears to be more interior padding, which reduces the interior width for my head. This is for same size (L). The rubber piece in the front of the nose does an excellent job of preventing fogging but just barely touches my nose. All this is likely adjustable.
