  • Wonderful, Great, Best Bike Rack for Ebikes
Size: EZ-FOLD Ebike Rack V1
I delayed while researching bike racks. I should have pulled the trigger on this rack immediately instead of trying to cut corners. It took an hour to put together with a couple tools. It is Heavy but that means it is SOLID. The bottom tracks are aluminum or it would be heavier. I have a 48” wheelbase and 90 pounds f bike. My wife’s bike is about 55 pounds. I can load it all because the rack leans backwards to make it easier to load up. The front wheel has a strap locks in a troth and the rear wheel is against a sliding wheel chaulk on the bottom. It also straps down. The upright bar allows you to clamp the top bar or the upright under the seat post. The only thing I wasn’t excited about was I can’t use my locking hitch pin because they have a bolt that threads through and has a cotter pin. The bolt tightens and keeps the Reese hitch tight and doesn’t rattle so I like it. ... show more

  • Solid brilliant design strap spring should be much stronger.
Size: EZ-FOLD Ebike Rack V1
Very solid sturdy bike rack. Strap for secured the bike is great, it's fast on and off. The only complained I have of this rack is the spring of the strap that suppose to hold it in place. It needed to be much stronger. Otherwise it a solid 5 stars. Brilliant folded and unfolded mechanism. Ps I secured both bike with chain lock below the bike seat. To lock and to secured both bike incase strap fail. Impossible for it to break off. Awsome solid good looking bike rack :). ... show more

  • Perfect for our 80 Lbs Cirq Y1 Premier eBike with 4” fat tires & 58” Wheel Base
Size: EZ-FOLD Ebike Rack V1
I am not very mechanical and still found it very easy to assemble. Instructions suggest using a 300 mm (12" Monkey Wrench (which I had) and 2 Open Wrenches, a 17 mm (which we bought and it was used for all bolts but 2) and a 24mm BUT the 24mm wrench was expensive and we made due with a 2nd Monkey Wrench (there are only 2 bolts that big). Also the instructions made attaching it to the car Step 6 (the last step before loading on the bikes). I wanted to test how well the unit folded up right away so attached it to the car as Step 2 (right after attaching the bottom fixing bracket assembly to the rotating mechanism). I left it attached to the car for the rest of the assembly and found that made all the remaining steps, especially step #5, easier. We were concerned about our 58" wheel base and 4" wide tires but it fits fine. The carrier does not stick out wider than the car but our bikes do; the tires poke out 3-5 inches on each side. Nothing to be done about that except avoid tight squeezes when driving. One time going into an alley ... Oh I digress. The center poles are sturdy, the attachments adjust to meet the sweet spot for tie-down, so the bikes feel secure. Folded up, it sticks out less than a foot from the receiver and folded down, it sticks out 3 feet 1 inch. It's a well made unit and I am very happy with our purchase. ... show more

  • Solid, heavy rack for heavy ebikes
Size: EZ-FOLD Ebike Rack V1
I bought two 80+ lb ebikes (Ecells Five Star) so I needed a rack with adequate weight carrying capacity. Not feeling like spending upwards of $1,500 on one of the high-end racks, I researched and decided on this one. The center vertical support bars I believe provide the best stability vs the ones that have tire hoops only. It's a good fit for our Infiniti QX60 SUV and the rack allows only minimal bike movement when underway. I hardly notice any difference in driving dynamics. When folded up without bikes, there is plenty of clearance for the rear of the SUV. AMENDMENT 06/15/24: I see some reviewers state that the strap shackles do not work.... Well, TURN THEM AROUND 180 DEGREES and they will work. This continues to be a very solid bike rack IMHO and I recommend it for heavy ebikes. ... show more

  • Missing peaces. Sturdy otherwise
Size: 2 Ebike Rack
Seems sturdy, heavy and flattens down. Package was taped well but the bike rack is missing 2 of the rubber tire gaurds, snd had a lose screw that I have yet to find it's home.

  • bad product
Size: EZ-FOLD Ebike Rack V1
The media could not be loaded. Terrible assembly, Holes do not line up on the tire rack to the frame. Got aggravated after spending over 1 hour trying to get it to fit. Very disappointed with the quality control. Customer Service is terrible, it takes 48 hours form them to respond, and every time you reply it takes another 48 to get a response. They ask not logical questions and do not understand their product. They reply at about 1:30 a.m. via email only. I Guess i have to modify it myself. Looks like it is built well, heavy duty. UPDATE: Company finally responded and offered a $50 discount to have me drill out the holes, so i accepted. Works Good Now, Very well built. ... show more

  • Good rack for ebikes
Size: EZ-FOLD Ebike Rack V1
This rack is heavy which is good, not going to worry that it is going to break going down the highway, but bad when I carry it, i actually use a 2 wheel canoe carrier to move it around, bikes are very stable in the rack, I like the rubber latching straps, and the folding mechanism which has a lock to prevent it from unlatching Figured out pretty quickly to load the ebikes by lifting the front tire to the end of the rack and then lift the back of the bike as you roll it into position on the rack. The main reason I bought this rack is that one of our bikes is a step through so the way that the center posts of this rack attache to the vertical seat post works well with a step through type bike I too had two holes in the front tire shoes that did not line up, wondering if i would have swapped the shoes if everything would have matched up, but they have four 3/8 bolts that hold these on so i just left the one out that Would not line up, you couldn’t knock them off with a stick of dynamite, overall a very nice well built sturdy stable rack. ... show more
