  • Great television, great purchase
Size: 65-Inch
I read many reviews before I purchased my Hisense TV. I bought a 65" during prime days at quite the deal, at $957.00. This TV does not disapoint. It was easy to assemble and set up. I'm 68 and the base is solid steel. I had my son help me set it up on top of a credenza that I bought especially for my TV in the living room. The remote is simple to use. The colors are vivid. The speed which it streams is great. The clarity is amazing. It was shipped to me without incident and arrived a little earlier than expected. The box was intact and the tv was packed very well. I own 2 Samsung TVs, that I bought last year (smaller but top of the line). This Hisense has great gaming features as well. I believe the performance is actually better than my Samsung. It connected to my Polk audio system without issue. I can't believe the quality of this tv at the price point that I bought it at. Very happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • AWESOME TV!
Size: 55-Inch
I had Sony for 8 years and it started to jammed and died out, so I buy Hisense U8N after my friend told me about it. I am so excited about the new tv that I just received and couldn’t wait to open it. All I can say is WoW!! First, it is very easy to assemble, it comes with two handles and screws. Just attach the handle on the bottom of Hisense tv with the screws, it is very stable that you don’t need other support for it to stand very still on the table. Then just plug the power to the outlet and it can be turned on easily. Once you set it up, just turn on the power of tv and it comes with different languages that you can choose from, then connect to the WiFi and they will guide you through the setup. I started watching it as soon as I finished the setup. Hisense U8N that I got just launched this year, it comes in 55”, 65”, 75” and 85”. I got the 55” due to limit space in my living room, surprisingly the size is perfect for my house. The U8N is a 4K TV with up to peak brightness 3000, the model is also miniLED, which gives you a better vision, and brightness when you watch tv or movies. For the old tv that I had, when the bright object appears on the screen, it messed up the contrast, but with miniLED, the U8N gives you a more clarity vision and better color saturation. There is also gaming mode so you can play with your family. Also, the price for Hisense U8N is very good compared to other brands. If you are looking for the best TV with excellent features, just go for Hisense U8N. ... show more

  • Extremely impressive 55” TV, with tweaked image settings
Size: 55-Inch
I’ve had the 55” model TV for about a month now, and I can say that I’m almost entirely impressed. I’d recommend it to anyone who’s seeking a great viewing experience but doesn’t want to pay OLED prices. Before purchasing this TV, I was looking at lower end OLED models, but I wasn’t happy about the low brightness levels and prices. I also was concerned about burn in. This TV struck a great balance point for me. The price point is much lower than OLEDs, and the viewing experience is 90% as good, at least for a normal viewer like me. Pros: Beautiful color range, impressive brightness (advertised 1800 nit for 55”), and contrast that’s almost unbelievably good for a non-OLED panel. High quality Dolby and SDR content both look stunning. The TV pairs seamlessly with my Apple TV. I’m super impressed! Cons: - To get great picture, you’ll have to spend a good amount of time tweaking the image settings. The review on the RTINGS website has a great setup guide. The default picture settings are underwhelming, in my opinion. - Another con is that in some SDR videos (e.g., on YouTube), you can see posterization. Hopefully Hisense will make a software update to help fix this. - The viewing angle is awful. We only watch TV from a straight-on view, but beware that the picture quality drops harshly if viewed from too sharp of an angle. My overall experience rating: 9/10 My “objective” rating given the price and limitations: 8.5/10 Good luck! ... show more

  • Glitchiest TV I've Ever Experienced
Size: 75-Inch
The TV was fine at first. Picture quality was great. Super crispy and bright. Sometimes blinding it was so bright, but I have sensitive eyes. Everything was going smooth then after a week or so the TV started to glitch. There would be random flashes of lines on the screen and we didn't even have to be looking at the TV screen to notice it happen. We have a sound bar that we connected to the TV. Even though the sound bar would turn on automatically when the TV turned on there wouldn't be any sound for the first couple minutes. So, if you knew what you were going to watch and turned it on there would be no sound. Eventually, whenever a setting or volume or anything got clicked on the remote the sound would be off from the lips, there was a delay of the change. We would turn the TV off and we would hear sound for another 10-15 seconds. Pausing whatever we were watching would take about 10-15 seconds and even playing the show/movie again there would be a delay. AND there were times where I would be watching something and I have not touched anything and the TV would start acting up. The sound would cut in and out. All I wanted was to watch a show or movie in peace and this TV made me frustrated. I hated it. I know it's supposed to be great and all but I could not stand it. Sometimes new is not always the best and this was definitely one of those time. ... show more

  • Good, really good but not great...
Size: 65-Inch
I have a perfect 10,000 hour LG OLED B7 65 and now have this Hisense U8N 65 sitting right next to each other and they both have a fantastic picture. The OLEDs viewing angle takes the win for me, as the U8N washes out considerably unless you're directly in front of it. If you're even slightly off to the side, even 1 seat over, the picture looks grey and washed out. It stinks really, as the Hisense has the better-looking and WAY brighter picture when viewed straight on. But I have a very bright room and need a brighter TV. Just one that can display some color and now I'm not sure what to do with this TV. 2024 LG G4 and bite the bullet? $3300 though.... ... show more
