I read many reviews before I purchased my Hisense TV. I bought a 65" during prime days at quite the deal, at $957.00. This TV does not disappoint. It was easy to assemble and set up. I'm 68 and the base is solid steel. I had my son help me set it up on top of a credenza that I bought especially for my TV in the living room. I had a 55" Samsung that was 6 years old that I replaced with the Hisense. The remote for the Hisense is backlit, and simple to use. The colors are vivid. The speed which it streams is great. The apps I use alot are already on the home screen. The clarity is amazing. It was shipped to me without incident and arrived a little earlier than expected. The box was intact and the tv was packed very well. I own 2 new Samsung TVs, that I bought late last year (smaller but top of the line) that my family love to use to game on. This Hisense has great gaming features as well. They report that the gaming features are "awesome"! I believe the performance is actually better than my Samsung. I live in a condo which can be kinda dark when the sun goes down. The tv senses the light changing when the room darkens or lightens in its environment and will adjust itself to a brighter/dimmer setting automatically. I had a TCL 55 r635 I bought in 2020. As I'm getting older, I realize I can't see crap anymore, so I've been thinking about a 75" TV. I began saving up at the beginning of the year, and after much research, decided to roll the dice on the Hisense U8N. So far, I'm very, very happy. On the Prime day in Oct, they had it discounted so that at the discounted price, you could buy the 4 year extended warranty and it came out to what they were charging normally. Can't beat that! Normally I don't buy extended warranties, but the only downside I could see on Reddit and other places is that the memory in the TV fails on some units so I didn't want to get stuck in that situation. Another huge plus buying from Amazon is that they had free delivery and setup. 2 guys brought it inside and set it up on the TV stand (which I also bought from Amazon a few weeks prior). For sitting 12 feet back from the TV, due to our living room set up, 75" is perfect. I really feel like I'm in a movie theater. We have a massive, bright window in the living room, with dark out curtains, and we don't see an issue with seeing the TV. I like the TCL, and it was my first 4k TV, but wow, in just 4 years, this Hisense is really impressive. My wife and I love to stream 4k YouTube videos of things like walking through Tokyo videos, etc, and it really feels like your there. The colors really pop, and the blacks really are black. I know streaming 4k content is compressed and worse than a 4k DVD, so I picked up The Greatest Showman in 4k and WOW! Not only does it look wonderful, but the sound is pretty decent too. It helps having that little sub woofer on it. Now, it doesn't rattle like the kids car down the street, but it does give the sound a little oomph. I've ordered the LorR trilogy on 4k, so can't wait to see that on this TV! My Xbox Series X is sharp as ever on this TV too. So far, no complaints. I not into the stuff enough to mess with setting and all, although I did turn off all motion settings, and I'm 100% happy with this TV and feel no regrets at all. If you're on the fence, and can afford the warranty, jump on it. Nice bonus too was that if you click through the NBA link for the listing, they give you a free copy of NBA2k25, and not just the base game, but the upgraded $100 version. I wasn't expecting that at all. What an awesome bonus on top of the discount Amazon gave. ... show more

TV was delivered by a two man crew and was carried to the back of the house and put in the basement where I stay. 65 in TV on a 57 in cabinet. TV is heavy with the base adding a substantial weight to the unit. No worries of tipping. Two options for the base low to you cabinet or high for your sound bar if your using one. I cannot comment on the sound of the TV speakers as I'm hooked up to a Denon AVR receiver. The remote feels good in the hand and has some heft to it. Doesn't feel cheap even though it's made of plastic to look metal. The TV has a 1/4 in bezel which adds to the clean look. Hook up was straight forward plug in your cables run through the setup and your good to go. I purchased this because of the gaming options on a 65in and you won't be disappointed with your options. Games look and run amazing. Movies look great and the 1080p movies I have look great as they are upscaled as for the 4k movies it's night and day from the Vizio I had. You have several picture settings to choose from for your video you're viewing that you can tweak to your likeing. The screen is bight but as you can see it still shows some reflections when you have a window in front of the TV. Color vivid and distinct throughout the picture. Now I know what the mean by deep black. The only setting I have changed is the brightness for night time viewing. I spent a LOT of time looking around at different models and reading/watching ALL of the reviews. Watch Digital Trends YouTube channel as he does a really good job breaking down why this TV is such an amazing value. But even with all of the reviews I was still SHOCKED at how beautiful it is. Colors are bright and accurate. Brightness is stunning, even in a well lit room. Speakers are fantastic for a TV which allowed me to get rid of my sound bar. Google TV is an excellent built-in OS and I was able to install Kodi on it to connect to my home NAS stored movies. And the price, when on sale, is amazing. I am actually going to pick up the 75" model to replace my living room TV once I have the money for it (this one replaced a bedroom TV). I would highly recommend this TV. ... show more
