  • Good Hardware better software

I have two Hisense TVs that are almost the same, just different sizes. The first being a googleTV and now the Roku. The GoogleTV is legitimately AWFUL! It worked great for about a month or two before a bad update got pushed and it never worked the same. Laggy as hell and wouldn't respond to the remote half of the time. Took a chance with this one as the price was great and I figured you couldn't mess up Roku. I was right. This TV has worked like it has been brand new since I got it. No hiccups ever. Honestly wish I got a better one as the QLED panel would've been a better option but the picture on this one is still great! ... show more

  • Fantastic for the price
Size: 65 in
I ordered this 65 inch tv for a conference room in my office because of the 399 price. I am partial to Samsung TV’s for the picture quality but for a conference room at 399…..I just had to give it a try as I am not watching movies on this thing!!! I have always believed you “get what you pay for” when it comes to TV price and quality of the pic. Everyone in my office thinks the pic is great and I don’t see any difference between this pic and my TVs at 2 or 3x the price. Easy to set up, super thin and light. Remote is laid out nicely for easy use. I am so happy with this purchase, I am replacing a TV in my home with one of these. I noticed several bad reviews for “damaged” boxes and the tv was broken. This is a delivery issue not a tv issue. I am extremely pleased with the quality of this TV even at 2x the price. (It was packed VERY securely). I would not hesitate to buy this TV instead of another “bigger brand name”. ... show more

  • Good pic, good tech, super light
Size: 50-Inch
I can’t believe how light flat screens are now. I was able to easily mount this high on a wall by myself. I like the functionality of the Roku remote (the Apple TV remote on my other TV is terrible) and the on screen apps. Price was right on!

  • So Far, So Good

It was easy to set-up, this is the third ROKU TV in the house. I bought it for the $ and value. We also bought the sound bar that goes with it that will be here tomorrow. I am hoping that it stays with us for years. I love ROKU's easy set up and functionality. The picture is very sharp, clean and like I said, so far so good. I think the value is getting a 65" TV for $400! Football season is upon us soon, looking forward to watching my fav team on this new TV. :) ... show more

  • Best TV bang for the buck!
Size: 50-Inch
It's amazing how much TVs have improved across the board over the past 5 years. This is especially true of budget TVs because many of the features that were only found in upper level, premium units such as Dolby vision, HDR and dts sound have migrated down to their cheaper siblings. After a ton of research, I purchased the 50 inch Hisense R6 and mounted it to my bedroom wall. When it comes to performance, I have zero regrets. Sure, it's not as vibrant as my 65 inch LG C1 OLED that I have in my family room, or loaded with features such as Filmmaker mode and Bluetooth, but it's a huge improvement over the 43 inch plasma TV it replaced. With a bit of tweaking, I was able to get the color adjusted to my preference. Now I understand that everyone is different, but the following adjustments is what I found to be the best for me: TV brightness: Bright Picture mode: Standard Under "Customized picture" Backlight: 100 Brightness: 55 Contrast: 100 Sharpness: 60 Color: 40 Tint: -5 Under "Expert settings: Dynamic contrast: Low Noise reduction: Low Color temperature: Normal Auto setting: Standard Gamma correction: 2.2 Under sound mode: Theater Be aware that HDR content has to be separately adjusted... Again, keep in mind these are the adjustments that work best for me. I would encourage you to experiment with tweaking the TV because you will most likely not be satisfied with the default settings that come out of the box... You'll notice that I have not taken the time to comment on the specs of the TV because that type of information can easily be found online and YouTube. Suffice to say that a better TV for the money just doesn't exist - at least for the time being. The Hisense R6 is well built, the baked in Roku operating system is fantastic and the asking price is remarkable. Can you get a better TV if you're willing to pay a lot more? Of course, but I think that over 80 percent of the people who buy the Hisense R6 are going to be perfectly satisfied with the video quality of this TV. One last thing as a side note, if your TV (or anything else you buy on Amazon for that matter) is delivered damaged, get in touch with Amazon who will most likely replace it - Nothing is more annoying than to see somebody post a 1 star review for a situation that has absolutely NOTHING directly to do with a product or its performance. Just saying! ... show more

  • Take a leap of faith ! lol
Size: 50-Inch
I was honestly scared due to all the reviews about a damaged dv. Now don’t get me wrong my box did come fairly beat up with some tears around the edges BUT, my tv was perfectly fine! The set up was quick and easy. My old tv just broke 3 days ago and this came extremely quick. SN: remote does come with an HBOMAX button which does nothing now that it’s “MAX” and my Netflix doesn’t load for right now but Netflix doesn’t load for me most of the time anyway lol so not sure if that’s Netflix having a bug or the tv ... show more

  • Best TV for the money
Size: 50-Inch
I needed another TV for the guest room. This 50 inch TV has all the bells and whistles on it (4K TV, SMART with Roku, google, Alexa, full array LED backlight LCD display, Dolby Vision HDR and HDR10 sound). The only weak point is the 60Hz (60 frames per second) refresh rate vs 120Hz. The picture quality, to my eyes, is clear, sharp, and bright colors. The sound quality is not stereo quality because it is difficult to build good base speakers into a <22 pound TV. An external sound bar or speakers could fix that but it sounds pretty good to me. I placed this TV next to my, much more expensive, ~48 inch, 4K, 120Hz refresh, LG TV and do not see any visual difference. This TV costs <1/2 the price as well so is a deal. The question I can't answer is how reliable is it or how long will it last? At this price, if it fails, I can buy another new one and still have saved money. ... show more

  • Mostly great
Size: 65 in
This tv looks good, pretty strong speakers for a tv but it will not connect to my Bluetooth speaker. Also does not support voice or allow me to access the last thing I was watching. If you accidently exit the app you are in you will have to relaunch and find the program you were watching...despite minor short comings I am satisfied with this purchase. ... show more
