The machine makes good coffee. This is not my first espresso machine so I am diligent about cleaning it regularly. I had purchased the extended warranty as well. After less than 4 months the milk frother failed. I submitted a claim for the warranty and they sent me back to the manufacture, geekpure, because the unit was less than 4 months old (it was a nuisance, for sure). The manufacturer sent me complex videos to disassemble the unit to check an internal solenoid valve. The level of disassembly was completely unreasonable for the consumer! That was all they would offer. I saw another review mention the same thing. I had to return the unit. Poor quality. Not good service. You will regret your purchase. ... show more

    • Stopped working, connected with the vendor through their website and it's fixed!
Update a year later...I was a out to reach the vendor via their website, not through Amazon. They provided instructions on how to fix the fuse and gave me a credit for the amount of the fuse and tools. I replaced the fuse myself and it's still working great. Original post: The machine worked beautifully. I loved it. But then it stopped loading past the first screen when we turned it on one morning. There's no way to reset the software, no advice in the manual, and the vendor is not responsive. ... show more

I purchase first Hipresso coffee machine in October 2021 which stoped working after less than one year. Because was difficult to find the service repair or use the warranty, I badly decided to purchase one more in November 2022. After 7 months of using the second machine damaged as well, basically doesn't get power anymore. Not clear how I can use the warranty or service, trying to google Hipresso you don't get more than buying options ... show more

Great looking machine, but when it comes to making the coffee, it falls flat. After cleaning the system and flushing 6 or 7 full water tanks, it still smelled like a burnt garden hose. The press system must not be squeezing the coffee ground, or the system is leaking because the area the grounds fall into is not dry like other expresso machines are. It’s like a swamp of coffee grounds. When I pulled it out to inspect, the whole pressing system was covered in coffee grounds. And this was only after trying out a few cups. The water heat time and milk frothing time is very slow. Final conclusion is I returned the expresso maker and never got to enjoy a cup of coffee with the new machine. Nice and simple. Easy to use, easy to clean, and good milk frother. Sensors for coffee hopper and spent coffee are not accurate. Unable to get the unit to anything above 120Β°F. Poor default calibration.

Stuck in boot mode. Would not ingest milk and all the sudden stuck on boot mode. Less than a year and no option to return. Complete ripoff.
