I am writing this review on these pants and a few others I bought for working out. I filtered reviews by my height and weight and so many people said they ran big and bought size M. I usually wear an XL and sometimes a L. Well do yourself a favor and just buy your usual size. The Ms were way too small. I carry most of my weight in my thighs and butt so maybe that is why. So my fellow thick thighed ladies, get your normal size ! These pants are a good fit in the XL I bought, though they do pull up higher in the front than in the back for me. I was looking for a pair of high waisted more formfitting workout leggings. These look really small when you open the package but they are very tight thick material fairly warm. I’m 5 10 and have. 34 inch inseam so I was pleasantly surprised how long these are. They are high waisted but do roll down a bit cuz they are trying to snatch the waist in & I may be a little chubby still lol . I do like them tho, great for my workout journey ... show more

I have a 26” waist and got the small. It fits alright in my legs (they’re long on me, but that’s just because I’m 5’4”) but it does almost nothing for my waist. I thought it would have a spanx-like effect. It did not. The material around the waist is very thick, so any “sucking in” that it does is negated by the inches of thick fabric added around my waist. If it was an inch or two smaller in the waist, it would be perfect. I didn’t want to get a smaller size because it then the legs would be too small. I love that there is no vertical crotch seam. I love that they are uber high waisted (they cover my belly button, which is a plus for me since my belly is still wonky from giving birth). They are good for working out for the price. But if you already have a somewhat hourglass figure, don’t expect it to make your tummy any slimmer. ... show more
