This product has cut down my parting time in half. I thoroughly am glad I decided to purchase this product. However there are things I wish this product did a little bit better. The first is that I wish the battery life of the lights was longer because it often ends up dimming and cutting off after what feels like only a couple hours (2-3 hrs I think but I didn’t time it). The second thing I would change is the brightness of the lights to be a bit brighter. It doesn’t need to be like high beam stadium lights but a little stronger light source than how it currently is would be great. I often end up not even using the lights on the mirror because it doesn’t feel like it makes that much of a difference for me. Besides those two things I still think this is a wonderful product. If you are someone who is often doing braids, twists or other hair styles on yourself, you should invest in this product. ... show more

Love that the mirror can hang over a door and that the rods adjust to various lengths! No nails in the wall and adjusted for my height - 5’5”. The mirror seems sturdy. It has wide side mirrors, so it provides good overall visibility. It hangs just like a wreath does from a door hanger, except this is all ONE piece - nothing to put together! I hung a thin towel over the door first to stop the mirror from moving every time I opened the door. (It doesn’t slide, but it lightly bumps the door, just like a wreath hung over a door.) It is nice, good smooth reflective mirrors. The LED light could be a little brighter. The biggest issue I have is that I cannot hang it on any other place but a door. The door and lights in my bathroom are positioned in such a way, that I have to close the door to use the mirror, and then bathroom lights are located on one side, so there is not enough light for cutting my hair. The LED light in the mirror is bright enough for women doing makeup and such, but for cutting your own hair, is a different story. ... show more

I bought this mirror because I want to save some money by cutting my own hair. For that purpose, it works great. At first I was using a hand mirror and trying to balance holding a mirror in one hand and holding clippers in the other was miserable and I wouldn't recommend it. Everything is backwards and your hands move too much. The three way mirror has hooks that you pull out the back. These hooks hang over your door. You can either leave it there or you can push the hooks back into the mirror and fold it up so you can put it away. It's very portable in that regard. My only complaint is that the hooks feel kind of flimsy. They will hold up the mirror just fine, but I wouldn't be too rough with them. This also makes it a little bit harder to get them "level" so that one isn't longer than the other. It's only a minor inconvenience though. ... show more

I like to do my own box braids and parting the back of my head neatly is challenging so this gadget truly appealed to me. The overall product is good and made the process easier, LED light is bright and the angles are overall good but a few flaws to note. (1) the charge for the LED doesn’t last at all so for it to be effective, it would be ideal for you to have it charging while you’re using it hung up on the door so that it doesn’t go out (2) Charger cord is too short. As stated above, for the LED light to be effective, you will need to have it plugged up while you’re using it. But most outlets are closer to the floor so the charger cord is not long enough to have it plugged in while it’s hung up and still reach the outlet decently. (3) The product Itself needs to be wider in length so you can see more of the back of your head. Thanks ... show more
