As someone with very short hair, I struggle with my hair upkeep. My hair grows very quickly and it makes a big difference because it’s short. It feels pointless to go to the salon when it’s getting long but not long enough for a full trim, so I ordered this mirror along with some texturing comb scissors. This mirror works really well! I hang it over the door of the bathroom (keeping it open so it is parallel to the bathroom sink). You can switch between facing the hanging mirror and looking at the back of your head in the bathroom reflection or trying to face the bathroom mirror and seeing the reflection in the hanging mirror. You can adjust how low it can hang as well. The only slight hesitation is that it does feel somewhat cheap, which is to be expected—but as long as you don’t chuck it across the room, it should do the job! ... show more

The three mirrors help a lot when I’m doing my own hair. I love the LED lights. I’m short so I hate the door hangers. I put command strips on the back to stick on my bathroom door so I can adjust to my height. It would be a lot better if the hangers were adjustable. I purchased this mirror so that I could do my own hair. It hangs pretty nicely on the door, even though it feels delicate. I used it on the front door to my house (because I wanted more light) and had no issues closing the door with it on it. My main issue with the mirror is the battery of the light. At fully charged, you have maybe 1 - 1 and 1/2 hours before the light dims to the point there it isn’t helpful anymore. I purchased it to install and maintain micro locs and that amount of time is literally a drop in a bucket for the back of my head, so I’m returning it. Also it would be a nice option for the mirror to have a way to extend it up vertically when you want to sit and do your hair at a table. I have to prop a box underneath to elevate it. It wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but would have been nice to be able to do that. ... show more

Who knew these existed? I always cut my own hair (I'm a curly) and ran into this, bought it, definitely a game changer when trying to even out sides and back. The mirrors are wide enough, the light works, haven't used the charger, it came lit. Hopefully I remember where I put it if and when I need it ha. It isn't a true 360 so lower your expectations, I cannot see the nape of my neck straight on, but can see 2/3 or so from each side, enough to know that it wasn't even and to take care of that. Easy to compare both sides without moving your head. The only issue i have is I am 5'1" and am at the lower edge when it's hung at full expansion. I can still see but wish I could center my head a bit more. I read about the broken hinges, so I just close it carefully, and make sure to close the left side before the right. So far no problem but it's only been a month. Like everyone has said, remove the sticky protection or you'll think the mirrors are no good. They are super clear and crisp. ... show more
