Mounted behind TV at Left edge, can't see the PS4 but can still power on/off and insert DVDs. Who ever thought this up must of made some good money on it. Super simple idea, works great. Holds PS4 steady and flat aginst wall but easy to slide out if you have an issue. Very pleased with purchase, solved a huge issue of having a tv on the wall. I really hate console shelves. They always end up being the defacto storage place for every wire, controller, remote, random electronic accessory that I've collected for the last six years. I don't need that stuff. I never do. But for some reason I feel compelled to keep ten one foot Ethernet cables around. I've decided I have these things because I've always had a place to put them, the giant console/tv stand in my living room. It takes up space, collects insane amounts of dust, and harbors years of ridiculous collections of wires and controllers. I haven't had a PS3 in four years. I have three PS3 remotes in there. And for some reason, a random VGA wire. And some speaker wire. And a whole bunch of other junk that I *might* need but never do. So I bit the bullet and decided when I got my new TV, I wasn't going to keep any of that stuff. Having a hide-it mount made the change so much easier. Not only does it not allow me to indulge in my electronic packrattiness, it's also so much less clutter in my living room. I love it. I'm totally getting one of these for the Switch and the XB1. I have a 60 inch tv on the wall. It has all that space behind it. Why not use it? Not only that, but I have one cord going up to my TV instead of six. I mounted a nice power brick back there to make it work out that way. The pictures aren't the way it will eventually look. I have some ideas to streamline it further, but it's nice to have everything tucked away. I just can't believe I never thought to look these things up before. I grew up with those silly commercials where they show a flat screen on a wall (above a fireplace no less) with no cords or anything else. I get why they advertise it like that, it looks cool, simple and modern that way. But I always thought it was ridiculous because I have all these consoles I use regularly. I was super tickled to find someone made mounting kits for these things. Bonus - my cat doesn't try to sit on my PS4 when I'm playing it anymore. And accidentally eject the game when I shoo her away. And my save is an hour ago. So, there's that. ;) ... show more

I love this design, it's superb for my purpose, just perfect. I needed a solution for mounting our firstborn's ps4 launch model on the wall fast, he needed the surface in his media room for school stuff, and reduce clutter. this wall mount does it perfectly, in style! it's very sturdy for an apparently flimsy design, I had my doubts at first, but when I finally held the massive, beautifully shaped, sheet of steel in my hands, my worries dissipated. I didn't use the supplied bolts, those are ridiculous, for most wall types, they shouldn't even supply them anymore, I felt insulted at the quality, but these wall anchors are totally irrelevant actually, the product is beautifully crafted, easy to mount, just grab a level, trace the holes, drill, and you're good to go! the thing's invisible. this mount is available in Germany, but I bought it in the US because it was much cheaper, shipping included! ain't that something! thank you! ... show more

The PS4 HIDEit mount worked perfectly to help keep my TV wall update cleaner (still have some additional work to finish the project, and another HIDEit mount will be used). It was simple enough to install. I did need additional hardware to install on the wall. I used 1 stud, but wanted a better attachment for the non-stud side so I used a toggle bolt instead (this was due to installing on a plaster wall, if installing on a drywall I would have still used a toggle for a stronger mounting solution). The PS4 fits securely in the mount after ensuring the backside of the PS4 hits the right J-channel on the mount. Still wobbles a little if you move the PS4 around allot, but is secure and won't fall off on it's own. Great product and I will now keep buying more HIDEit mounts for future console upgrades. ... show more

Excellent product. We recently mounted a 55" TV on the wall, and we wanted a way to mount our PS4 and Nintendo Switch on the wall behind the TV. These HIDEit mounts worked perfectly. It took about ten minutes to install both, and the systems fit the mounts perfectly. The mounts have been installed for about five days now, and both feel very secure with the included drywall anchors. At this time, I have no concern about the systems falling out of the mounts or the mounts falling from the wall. These mounts are an excellent solution for my particular problem and, based on my experience with these products, I would recommend them to anyone with a similar problem or a simple desire to mount either a PS4 or a Nintendo Switch to a wall. Also, the packaging indicates that each mount was made in the United States of America using recycled or imported steel. ... show more

This is a great wall mount. Easy to install and very sturdy. I just wish I could have it oriented so the wires go off to the left side. I don't really see why you couldn't flip the PS4 in the other direction. It just looks kind of goofy on my wall. I couldn't mount it behind the TV because of space limitations (I can only get to the right side, and there wasn't room to still be able to insert a disc). I ended up mounting it under the TV. It looks okay, and I did what I could with cable management to make it look less sloppy. All in all I'm happy with it but it is limited to this orientation.
