Product appears well made and decent material and stitching. This was installed on a Top Paw 36" crate from PetsMart and I think this will hold up quite nicely. I had been simply throwing a sheet over our crate and our pup was pulling it in and chewing... LOL after all she is a 5/Mo old pup. This fits quite nicely and has an adjustable strap on the far end which I didn't notice in the pics on Amazon's page? I like this strap as it helps the product stay put and uniform on the crate. I would like to see some other colors but a great product for the price! ... show more

Disappointed by the product height for the 42 inch size cover. The product description said it was 30 inches tall, which is perfect for my 30 inch tall cage (42 inches long). But it was about 2.5 inches short as you can see in the photos. This means I cannot use the tie downs in the corners as instructed in the product instruction online. No matter how I tried, the elastic would not stretch to cover the distance. The short length also means that all the tie downs are in reach of the dog. I am not sure how long it will take him to notice the elastic and plastic pieces and chew them off. He is 6 months old and has already obliterated two of my decorative pillows on the couch. Length and width are perfect. The material has a nice weight to it and seems durable. The flap for the window has good magnets in each corner to hold it down or keep it in place on top of the crate when open. Zippers are nicely sewn. Overall the quality is great. I have a fur baby that loves to chew, rip and claw at on anything he owns. This includes his beds, blankets, toys, brushes, and anything in his crate. So when I was shopping for a cover, durability was primary. I’m happy to say that this product has lived up to its reputation. Its been several months and it’s still holding up nicely. I love the zipped opening at the top for additional air circulation. Also the fact that there is a side opening and front opening is a big plus. Both openings can be rolled up neatly and secured with a attached elastic holder. My fur baby is a rescue who is very skittish and apprehensive of new objects and experiences so I wasn’t sure how he would react to a cover for his crate. Ironically, having this made him a lot calmer and happier to be in his crate. Lastly, when shopping for a crate cover, I needed something that was understated and would blend seamlessly with my decor as I live in a small space that could easily look very cluttered. I’m happy to say that this cover in the cream beige color exactly fit the bill. I’ve hosted two events where I actually had to physically point out that there is a dog in a crate a few feet from them before they noticed it. This has really helped with the couple of friends that are not dog people and apprehensive around dogs. It’s been an all-round win-win situation for all. Bought our 6month old pitbull a 48" wire crate for her to grow into but turned out to be a huge eyesore in our living room. This cover made all the difference in how this now looks. Now its sleek and makes her feel like its her house. She goes in willingly to lay down and you can keep all the sides down for a full close or you can zipper open the side and/or front and it has convenient elastic ties for holding the gathered rolls when you want them open. Really happy with these crate covers. Bought 2 of the upgraded Grey for the 48” Amazon basics single door kennels- they fit perfectly, are made well and look really nice. The material is water resistant however due to ventilation would not be used for high water exposure. Great for privacy and wind protection. I raise Bernese Mountain Dogs and rarely take the time to write a review - only if I’m extremely impressed or extremely disappointed. I’m extremely impressed! My dog uses her kennel as her "safe" place. I never close her in or use it for discipline. This is where she goes to feel safe and comfortable when she is not in my lap. I used to just have a blanket on the kennel. I saw this cover and got it. It was so easy to fit and install. it looks cleaner and neater and it gives her a "cave" to retreat too. Used this on the 48in Smonter crate. The size would have been good, but proved to be the fatal flaw. Unfortunately it wasnt tight enough and flapped around in places. I dont expect any cover to be durable enough to withstand my dog's chewing. She destroyed it, mostly around the zippers where it hangs limply and has no real way to secure it. Also, It is wind, water and sun resistant but not waterproof. It leaked like a cheap tent when it rained and I had to put a piece of plexiglass that I happened to have laying around on the top of the cage between this cover and the roof so the water wouldn't pool up and drip directly into the crate. ... show more

Got this to help keep contained all the dirt and fur from my Saint Dane because she will come in muddy and wet or dry and dusty from rolling around playing in the dirty with my other dog or my daughter's dogs. My only issue was the size bottom if unzipped is loose so I just ziptied it to the kennel so she couldn't pull it in as well as used something sitting on top to hold the rolled up part from hanging down where she could pull in as she is a pup. I also went a step further and put a collapsed box between the canvas and cage in back side and end where she couldn't get the tag and pull off. She is still very much a pup at only 13 mo old and she loves tags. I didn't want to cut it off if this was not going to work out but not since it seems she likes it, daughter got one for her Saint Dane (sister to mine) and so far so good. She did the same with the boxes but she didn't zip tie the side bottom down and it flaps around lose and in my mind I see her pup pulling it in or tripping over it. Otherwise her dog really seems to enjoy it also. If it wasn't so expensive and too hard to clean the giant plastic crates we would have gone with those but this is a great alternative in the sense it adds security for the dogs and easy to clean crate and can remove to wash the cover if needed. ... show more
