  • Really works - makes gameplay so much more comfortable
Color: PU Leather for Quest 2
Picture is of what's inside the box. Included is the fan, charging cord of good length, face pad, and instructions. It's nicely packaged, and I'll reuse the box. There's only a little bit of plastic and a drying packet to throw away, the rest is paper/recyclable, which I appreciate. Instructions are easy to follow (I didn't need them). The fan has 2 settings. I use the high/high setting, except when my allergies are acting up and my eyes water, and then I turn it down to the high/low setting. This fan really works! When I forget to turn it on, it is so hot and uncomfortable to play. I charge it after each play session. I have never had it run out of battery, I play up to 2 hours at a time. The face mask is comfortable. After months of nearly daily use, I've unstuck it from the velcro and moved it up, and that's taken care of discomfort issues. At this point, I can't imagine playing without this fan. Pros: This works! Keeps me cool, I don't notice noise, is lightweight and comfortable, and charges perfectly. Cons: After months of use, I've had to readjust the mask. I've had to do this with all Quest accessories, so this isn't a big deal. Wish list - I'd like it to turn on automatically when I put the Quest on, and turn off when I take it off. I doubt this is feasible, especially at its reasonable price. ... show more

  • Good way to keep your face cool and avoid fog
Color: 2 Face Cover for Quest 3
The face interface is very comfortable and they include a second option for the padding. It's very easy to exchange the padding as well. The fan has 2 speeds and is efficient to cicle air through the front of the lenses, feels like a nice breeze on the face and reduce fog when playing for longer sessions. The installation of the entire face interface was a bit nerve stressful, mostly on the part of removing the original one from the Quest 3. If you find that a bit difficult as well, I recommend watching videos on how to remove it. The product does exactly what it is intended for and doesn't feel like it adds any additional weight to the device. The materials used also appear to be of good quality! ... show more

  • (UPDATED) Seems to work pretty well, will update after some use.
Color: Lycra Cotton for Quest 2
**UPDATE** So I just spent the last hour or so in my headset. First 30 minutes doing a dedicated workout, and where previously I'd essentially lose my ability to see anything due to the fog in about 2 minutes, was able to see clearly the whole time, and only had the fan on the first setting. The fan seems to kind of alternate between a low and a high speed as you use it. You can absolutely hear it but it is easy to ignore. The second thirty minutes I was playing Pavlov, which is a fairly active FPS game. Kept it on low speed the whole time, and not even a little fog. On top of that, my head as a whole felt cooler, which is awesome. Any sweat that started to work it's way inside, was immediately evaporated away. Now, I am playing late at night, and I keep my thermostat super low at night for better sleep, so the colder ambient air MIGHT have played a role here, but even if you have to bump it up to high speed, it still wasn't stupid loud. Just be prepared for a ton of air moving past your eyes! 10/10 would recommend, but 100% also recommend switching out the pad for the one I linked below (maybe they sell the pad without the plastic bit, don't know. Still leaving my review at 4/5 just due to the bad pad that it comes with. And maybe that's just my head shape (which I thought was pretty normal) It definitely cools the eyes, which is a strange sensation, but totally not a problem, and way better than the rainforest that usually happens inside the headset otherwise. **Original** So, pros. The fan works great and isn't super loud, I'll update if it ends up being a problem. NOTE. The nose leaks a ton of light. And the pad is pretty uncomfortable (thick on the forehead, light everywhere else). I luckily already have the AMVR facial interface (https://a.co/d/gprmXoG), and after glueing the nose piece onto the new interface, blocks all the light, and the pad velcro's into place making it more comfortable. The fan seems to work well, I haven't done a long session yet, so can't say about the whole eye drying thing or the sound. But will update this review soon with actual stuff. Just thought I'd start with first impressions, and how in super glad I had that other faceplate 😂 ... show more

  • Works way better than expected.
Color: Lycra Cotton for Quest 2
I have taken a while to get my headset where I want it. I have tried a few different headstraps, battery solutions, facial interfaces etc. I am very impressed with this little fan. It actually cools your face inside the headset, it removes lens fog instantly. You have to use the plastic facial interface it comes with, because it has the vents that the van blows air through, but the padding on the interface is removable, so I switched that out with the VR cover foam replacement pad. The only downside of this setup, is that there is a little bit of light bleed in the nose area, but it is minimal and not a problem, at least with how mind fits me. The fan is rechargeable via USB-C port, which if you happen to have the VR Power 2 battery pack, like I do, you can plug it right into there and charge your headset, battery pack and fan all at once through the VR Power 2, which has 2 USB-C ports already built in and a micro USB for charging, which means I can keep this thing powered for my whole play session without worries, and I play long sessions. This setup however does mean that you will have a wire across your head. IF you don't have the other stuff, the fan is still really cool. It supposedly lasts around 2 hours on a full charge, and the facial padding that it comes with is comfortable, it just looks like it would absorb sweat a little, if you end up playing the very physical games. I am very pleased with my purchase, and I recommend this for really anyone. Unless you like lens fog, and having a sweaty face after a long session of gaming, you should probably get this. I was skeptical at first, but some people in a VR facebook group started talking about how good this was, and I had to find out for myself. I am glad I did. ... show more
