Lapidary machine comes with a complete rock polishing kit to start your projects right out of the box.
  • HIGH PERFORMANCE: Each All-U-Need lapidary polisher is installed with a powerful 1/4 hp, heavy-duty, direct-drive permanent magnet motor with sealed ball bearings. The motor is variable speed and can be adjusted from 800 rpm up to 3,400 rpm, allowing you to work at your own pace. The coolant reservoir holds about a pint of water. This flat lapidary machine comes with a 1/2" arbor and accepts backing plates that have a 1/2" arbor hole, making it a versatile rock polisher and stone grinder.
  • PORTABLE MACHINE: This flat lap cabbing machine is a lightweight, portable machine that works anywhere. It's constructed with ABS plastic that is rustproof and easy to clean. The All-U-Need has a small footprint and measures 10" X 10" X 12". Cabbing machine lapidary weights just 9 lbs, it is a portable shaping and rock polisher tool suitable for use on tabletops and workbenches. You can even take it on the road with you! Its quiet motor won't disturb others around you.

Includes one 8" 180# electroplated diamond disc, one 8" 325# brown diamond disc, one 8" 600# red diamond disc, one 8" 1200# blue diamond disc, one 8" Tech-11 polishing pad, one 2-gram 14,000 mesh diamond paste syringe, and four 8" acrylic backing plates. This machine is well made.....very solid. I like the different speeds that it has. It's definitely a quality piece of equipment. My only complaint is the drip tank. The knob to turn the water on or off is not exact.....meaning it's hard to tell when it's in the closed position. I think the overall design of the drip tank could have been improved.....and the plastic on/off knob should have been replaced by a brass/metal type valve. Other than this the machine works quite well. I've purchased other equipment from this company and their products are very high quality. ... show more

Bought this as a Christmas present for my wife. We have cut and polished so many rocks since then. This thing is great! I would recommend buying an 80 grit disc for initial shaping to save a lot of time. Easy to use, good quality. Would buy again.

I was excited about this design because the water runs down a tube, not out of the side like the other model. Two major flaws are the excess table which is an absolute nightmare to clean, and the splash guard. The splash guard is super flimsy and I’m using small clamps to keep it from tipping over with a full water well attached. Some way to actually attach it would be nice. The excess table that catches the water and excess that is ground off the rocks is a disaster of a design. But the machine works great and I’m able to prep for the upcoming rock show. ... show more

The first round of trying to shape these was rough…. Literally. I had so many flat spots. Getting the foam pads was a game changer. It made my cabs rounded and expedited the process. I found this out the hard way and had to remove each grit from the plastic base then put the foam pads on. If you are making rounded cabs don’t buy this without the foam pads! Additionally, I bought a couple diamond grit wheels to shape them faster up front, then I use the pad included to get them smooth and shiny! ... show more
