I do not leave product review - this is my first. I needed a pair of hiking boots for a trip to Alaska, but didn't want to spend a ton of money - thank goodness I stumbled across these boots !!! They are comfortable right out of the box. They do not need to be broken in - put them on and go hike. They fit my arch and my foot perfectly. I was glacial kayaking and glacial hiking..... Guess what didn't get wet ?? My feet !!!! I wasn't standing in ankle deep water all day, but I did stand in water to get into and out of the kayak and my feet were bone dry !!!! We hiked several miles up glacial soot and these did not miss a beat. I have nothing but great things to say about a boot out of the box that performs so well on such rugged terrain. I don't think I'll need another pair of boots anytime soon, but rest assured, these will be my go to. ... show more

I had to return the first pair, size 6.5, they were too small with normal socks. I normslly wear 6.5 and have wide feet. My second pair, I ordered 7.5 and they fit perfect even with socks! I love the soft colors and the fact they don't have the big black toe protection like a lot of them. The price is very good, I don't know if that means they are cheap quality but I don't hike much so I am confident they will serve well for my purposes. Looks like the soles will have lots of traction but haven't hiked in them yet. ... show more

    • Replace insoles and air out and it's good!

At first I thought, "Ugh! I will have to return these boots," but... decided to try to fix the minor problems which were 1. a chemical smell which even came off on my socks And the other problem was 2.the horrible insoles that came with these shoes… decided to air them out repeatedly and I wore them a couple of times switching out socks and actually the chemical stench went away and I put a couple of different insoles and before realizing that you have to have just the right insoles and found some Dave's latex insoles on Amazon trimmed them down to just the size and now these boots are very comfortable and do not heat up like before. They are comfortable and cute now… it's actually a pretty good deal still to buy these boots plus insoles... Also I did size up 1/2 size I usually wear a 9 and the 9 1/2 was perfect. ... show more

I was quite impressed with the sturdiness and quality of these boots. I didn’t even have to break them in before trekking on a 6 mile hike with rocky, uneven terrain. Ankles felt very well supported and inner linings are cushioned for extra comfort. I would highly recommend!

I want so bad this boots. My friends have it and they told me that they are very comfortable . I have being waiting for almost 3 weeks and they came today. They came used/dirty. My trip is coming up and I wonder if the seller could send me a new clean one. I am so frustrated!

I wanted to like these. But as you can see they're not very well made. The right shoe looks basically okay t, he left shoe is wonky. Top lace loops are crooked, the second lace loops are even more crooked. If you do buy, go a half size up. I'm a true seven and a half and had I bought that size they would have been too small. They are a narrower shoe at the toe area also. ... show more

Love the price and the looks of these. Due to the reviews , I ordered a half size larger than I wear. Unfortunately, they were still to small. So, I ordered a second pair. This time, a full size larger. However, they are still to tight, especially in the toe box. This is not something that I have ever had an issue with, so it's the shoes not my feet.
