I was going to build one, but for the price this was really a no-brainer. Works well, and holds the slitting blades in place. If it has any flaws, I wish they had a set with one smaller diameter so you can get more cutting depth, but this works for most projects.

I had to use a rust remover spray, my dremel, and some wd40 to make it look pristine. The finish though of the r8 shaft was not the best I have seen . I will report back how it performs on my axminster milling machine.

My lawn needed edging, but I didn’t have an edger. I’ve used motorized edgers before and liked them, but I wasn’t going to buy one just for the 20 or so lineal feet of sidewalk I needed to clean. So I bought a replacement edger blade with a 1” hole, bought this arbor, and chucked the assembly in a 1/2” right angle cordless drill. Edged my lawn in 15 minutes, and the storage of these parts is far more compact than another machine in the garage. I call it a win. ... show more

The first one I got in the mail was corroded and had some weird stuff in the threaded end. I immediately sent it back (super easy when taking it to Whole Foods). Pictures are of this one. The replacement I got wasn't corroded, but had that weird stuff in the threaded end. It was some dried white stuff and a brown powder of some sort. I cleaned it out as best I could with a small piano wire, then finished it off with some WD-40 and a copper wire pipe cleaner. I gave 2 stars because the return was super easy. ... show more

Good tool, and works fine. However, the screw that is included is cheap and will strip horribly the first time you use it. USE Antisieze on the threads. Also, do yourself a favor, and before you use the tool, take the black spacer/washer cap, and mill some wrench flats on it. I couldn't get the first saw off without doing that, and it is easier to not have to do it with a blade in the way. ... show more
