This was too expensive for what it is, but I needed to rack one more guitar. Customer Service: Why don't you make the EXACT part available for your guitar racks? This isn't the exact part--it fits--but doesn't look the same as the parts that are installed in your racks. It seems like it would be just as easy to make the exact parts available as it is to make this part available. If the exact part were made available I'd buy more of them. Why don't you sell them for a lower price? Ten bucks for one plastic yoke and two foam washers is probably more than 20 times the manufacturing cost. ... show more

As many before me have stated, this is the best and only way to fit more guitars on your Hercules stand. My only concern is, how does Amazon know that I buy so many guitars that I may need a *subscription* for this item? When I realized that Amazon recommended that I get one of these every three months to save a few bucks, I thought "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED" and I am now on a first name basis with my Sweetwater rep. ... show more

Okay do the math. I bought 2 Hercules stands guitar stands made to hold 3 guitars. That means I have room for 6 guitars, right? But now I have 8 guitars sitting comfortably on them! Thanks to this little accessory for very little money, I was able to put 1 small footprint acoustic and 4 electric-sized guitars on one stand. The other stand has 3 normal sized acoustics so I might be able to get another electric on that someday. But if they were all electrics, I could get 2 more of these extension packs and fit 5 also. So those 3 unit stands are really 5 unit stands for another 20 bucks. And if you get the 5 unit stand I'm sure you can get 7 or 8 on those. Well worth the extra $10, easy to install; just 2 clips and 1 screw and you can custom fit your rack to accommodate another axe. Highly recommend Hercules products. ... show more

Great idea for expanding the amount of guitars you can add to your hercules stand. I have 7 on my stand at the moment. I wondered if I would have to disassemble one side to slide these on but the neck holder has a screw and nut and the base foam circles have a removable clip that keeps em in place. Took two minutes to install. Very smart. I just wish there was a strap that could be put on the neck holder part to close off in case a guitar should slip. Makes it simple to expand the capacity of your Hercules five or three guitar stands. My five guitar stand, which I previously expanded to seven guitars, now holds eight, including a Gibson Firebird, a Gibson explorer, two Gibson Les Pauls, a Gibson SG, a Peavey Wolfgang, a Charvel Model 2, and a Keith Roscoe Custom. Bought two of these for my Hercules gs523b, they’re so easy to install & excellent addition to add more guitars safely. They’re built just like the materials of the ones the stand originally came with & hold the guitars without affecting the finish. You need to add one or two of these to any Hercules stand you have. I had a 3 rack and it works great as a 4 - could easily add one more and still squeeze in an extra electric. Just as sturdy as what comes with the original stand and very easy to install. I put my heavy 5 string bass on it with no worries. ... show more

They work just like they say they do. Same quality as the ones that come on the unit stock. Too bad it cost $10 every time you want to add an extra guitar to your already $100 guitar rack
