We’ve used dish wands to clean dishes since dish wands came on the market and have used several brands of sponge refills over those years. I’ve found that aftermarket refills have historically been better made than the ones included with my dish wand. Improvements noted were seen in the sponge’s adherence to the plastic frames that hold the sponges on the dish wand and the effectiveness of the sponge’s scrubbing surface. HELIME makes one of the better refills I’ve used. It fits my dish wand tightly and has a soft rubber pan scraper on its end. The sponges they’re replacing had hard plastic scraper tips that didn’t follow the round contours of my pans. I found that the HELIME sponge rubber scraper does. Putting HELIME’s dish wand sponge refill side by side with the one it’s replacing showed that they are the same size and are similarly made but with a better scrubbing surface. I have the newer dishwand handle where you press the button to release the dish soap which actually stays in the wand until pressed. So having a smaller hole makes that less user-friendly for my use. My previous wands always leaked my dish soap out, which was unnerving and the primary reason I switched to the new one with the button. Add to that, the smaller size head which could be helpful for cleaning the inside of glasses. But I still prefer my larger size that is more rounded on the end. However, I do like the addition of the rubber scrubber on the tip. That's a plus...but not enough to keep me buying this brand. So, I'll stick with my larger version wand replacements that have served me well. ... show more

The dishwasher's primary function is sterilization rather than food removal, I make sure to scrub my dishes before loading them into the machine. To ensure that the plates look spotless prior to being sanitized in the dishwasher, I remove food particles. I find it ideal to use scrub heads, which work better at dislodging trapped food particles from surfaces of plates and silverware. They are easy to change and fit the handle well. ... show more

These dishwand sponge refills seem to be comparable to the name brand ones I usually buy in stores. They fit my Scotch-Brite dishwand perfectly, have a similar food scraping tip, and a blue non-scratch scrubbing layer. The sponges perform just the same at cleaning and have not scratched any of my nonstick surfaces. The only difference is that these do not have a hole that can be punched out to allow more soap to flow through. This does definitely save on soap and was an advertised feature, but I feel like not enough soap flows through the sponge for my personal liking when washing. A small hole that could be punched out might be ideal. I may try to cut one into the sponges myself, but until then I just add a little extra soap on top of the sponge and it's fine. So I'd still recommend these since they are almost exactly like the brand ones and a good value for the price. ... show more

The scrubber on the left is this product, compared to the original manufacturer refill on the right. This product is the same thickness, a little bit smaller, and comes with a silicone scraper instead of the plastic scraper on the oem brand. I found that the silicone scraper is too flexible to actually scrape anything from my pots. I tried stuck on scrambled egg and rice and it just glided over the surface instead of scraping off the food. The scrubber sponges are almost identical and work the same. They are more per unit than the oem brand. With the useless scraper and higher price, they only get 4 stars. I will not be getting more of these. ... show more

These dishwand refills work well and are a good value. The shape and scraper differs a little from the original as shown in my pics. I did have some trouble removing from the wand, they don’t attach or remove as smoothly as the original.

This dish wand scrubber is built well. They easily attach to my current soap handle and stays securely in place. The sponge soaps up well and the scrubber pad cleans well as advertised. I’ve been using dish brush wands on my dishes for quite a while, and it’s always a pain to get replacement brush heads. Either they aren’t available at the store sometimes, for whatever reason, or they are way too expensive. This set of 9 is a great value and now I have replacement heads ready to go for a while. The only issue that I had with these is that they didn’t easily fit on my wand. For some reason, everytime I got one end of the brush head into the track on one side the other side would pop out of the track. So, it was a bit of a struggle to get on (and off). But, it can be done. And once it is on, it works just as well as any other brush head. The sponge itself is nice quality and does well on dishes. It releases an appropriate amount of soapy water and really does well to suds it up. I didn’t notice any different between these heads (without a hole) and others that do have one though. One thing that I find unique about these is the scraper section. While some scraper sections are hard plastic, this one is covered with a silicone-type scraper. So, it’s helpful in not scratching up my dishes or pans when trying to scrape off residue. ... show more
