I bought these to put mine and my moms phones in them while on a cruise vacation. I tested them both out with a paper towel. Left them in water for an hour, and the paper towels were wet in the same spot... so, in order to use these, we are going to put our phones in baggies and then in these, there's no time to get something else. ... show more

I submerged the bags for 2 hours in water as instructed after placing sheets of toilet paper into them. After that time there was no moisture inside. The bags floated so I needed to weight them down to stay submerged which is good to know.

Wr have been spending more time on the water. We have the standard sling for a phone, but what about wallet, keys, and other items I would prefer to keep dry. Found these two, and they work perfect. Small like a purse, but holds what I need on the water. The 3x zip lock seal helps to keep items dry.

Not only do I like to go kayaking I like to just sit on a raft in the lake. I also like to do these things alone so I have no one on the shore to hold my car keys or phone and this fanny pack is perfect. On the kayak I keep it on my waist in case the kayak tips! When I'm just floating in the lake on a tube I can connect it to a handle on the raft. So far I have not done a full dipping to the water but the pouch has three separate Ziploc's and then the top Ben's over numerous times and milk rolls so I don't see how water would get in. I just like the security knowing my phone and keys are on me at all times and safe. And it's nice to have My phone within reach so I can access the camera while I'm out in nature. I am going swimming in the ocean and my idea was to insert my i-Phone into a waterproof pouch, and insert the pouch into this other waterproof bag. It's not wide or deep enough, so I had to return it. I gave it 4 stars because I liked the idea of a wider landing at the bottom of the bag.

I work as a sea tour guide, so need to have something to keep money and cellphone dry. This bag felt a part very soon because the space for the hand is too small to pull out something from this bag. Had to find something else, more comfortable and durable.
