The light will not fit a standard light box meaning you have to purchase some type of decorative ring to put between it and the ceiling. Otherwise you'll see a hold all the way around it. Also, the bracket that comes with it doesn't line up with any standard fixture holes. They sent two wood screws to secure it meaning they know it doesn't fit a light box because those take a machine screw. I'm not sure where you would be able to actually install these lights without rigging something up which is a shame because they looked good out of the box. ... show more

My husband installed these as replacement for older fixtures in our utility/laundry room. Installation was quick, simple, and self explanatory. I was his side kick to help, but it was so simple I just ended up watching him & he was finished with both fixtures in less than 30 minutes. I love them so much. I can easily change out the bulbs if I need to, I don't have to wrestle with any cover- that's what I hated about the older fixtures plus cleaning them. I have not have to change the bulbs yet, I am using LED bulbs. I like the modern look. It also gave the room more lighting. I didn't have any problems, with shipping, packaging, or delivery. Theyre very lightweight if thats a concern. Cheap, one may say? Not the best design on the installing I had to get creative to get them to sit flush. The screws I received were too narrow to stay in the housing, so I had to get some. All and all I spent way more than planned for some cheap replacement light fixtures lol. ... show more

I REALLY wanted to like these fixtures and make them work for our house, but our original electrical hole in the ceiling was wider than the base of these fixtures. They are small in size but big on style. Sadly, we had to return them.
