Third set of these I’ve bought. (Putting in all my vehicles). Heavy cable- fine strand so it’s flexible. Good clamps. The bag kind of sucks and is cheap, but they are flexible enough to get back into original bag if you want.

I decided that #2 gauge was more than adequate for starting any car engine. 20 feet of length will usually be enough for the source vehicle to get close enough. These cables have what looks to be tough durable flexible insulation and the clamps seem strong and well made. I ordered one pair to check them out and then ordered a second pair for another car. I have another, much more expensive, jumper cable that is really difficult to use, because the clamps can only be used sideways, but in my cars I have great difficulty accessing the battery terminals with a large clamp held horizontally. Their low-gauge thickness helps provide the necessary amperage to jump-start anything from a dinky 2L to a hefty 6.7L powerstroke!
