This Bunkie Board is sturdy, and well made. It was so easy to install. No installation at all really. You just put it down easily. I have a slatted bed foundation and not only was my mattress sliding around, it was affected by the slats. The Bunkie Board solved ALL of that. The size and height is perfect. Offers so much stablility. I now have a much more comfortable sleeping situation. It is so sturdy and well made. I would definitely recommend it. It's worth every penny.

I got 2, a full and a king for a few beds in my house that have those typical metal mattress foundations with the thin metal slats. They are never enough to stop a mattress from sagging through and ruining the true support level (and maybe even damaging) the mattress. These fix all of that: no noise, very low profile, "assembly" is just throwing it down on the foundation grippy-side down, it doesn't slide around, fits perfectly, and very solid. It's a bit expensive for what it is, but it seems to ace its job and I'm happy with it.

This is just what I was looking for! Gets the job done, but most importantly, it's not squeaky & it doesn't move or slide around on our bed frame base. It's lightweight, and was easy to unpack and set up - had it ready to use in a matter of minutes. We have a tempurpedic mattress, and so far it has held up well in supporting such a heavy mattress on our frame. I would buy it again if we ever need another one!

This is exactly what we needed. It has rubber grips on the bottom to keep from sliding around, and it’s the perfect size for our Ashely Furniture bed frame. We have a S&F mattress, that’s very heavy, and sagged really bad. I’m excited to see if this makes a difference in the comfort level as well! The only negative I have, is the price… I paid it because we needed it and I couldn’t find one that compared, but that’s quite a steep price for what it is.

OKAY HEY HELLO LISTEN TO ME, I HAVE BEEN ON A GRUELING MATTRESS JOURNEY FOR NIGH 7 YEARS NOW. WE HAVE GONE THROUGH SEVERAL MATTRESSES IN THIS TIME. NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK. THEY DON'T MAKE MATTRESSES LIKE THEY USED TO, OF THAT I'M CERTAIN. PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE, NO DOUBT. WELL, PART OF THE PROBLEM MAY BE POOR QUALITY, BUT I NOW BELIEVE ANOTHER PART OF THE PROBLEM IS POOR SUPPORT. THAT IS, POOR BEDFRAME SUPPORT. YOU SEE, WE USED THE TYPICAL CHEAP WIRE BEDFRAME INITIALLY. NO MATTRESS SEEMED TO LAST MORE THAN A YEAR OR TWO BEFORE TERRIBLE SAGGING AND BACK PAIN ENSUED. THEN I STARTED TO THINK MAYBE THE PROBLEM WAS OUR BEDFRAME MORE THAN THE MATTRESSES WE WERE GETTING. SO WE GOT A BEDFRAME WITH WOOD SLATS WITH SMALL GAPS. A SLIGHT IMPROVEMENT, BUT THEY STILL HAD FLEX TO THEM AND SPACES IN BETWEEN, AND IT JUST SEEMED LIKE OUR MATTRESSES STARTED TO SAG A LITTLE AFTER PLOPPING THEM ON THERE. SO I THOUGHT...MAYBE I'LL SLAP A PLYWOOD SHEET IN THERE AND JUST GIVE IT A GO? BUT I WENT TO THE HOME DEPOT AND THERE WERE A MILLION TYPES OF PLYWOOD TO CHOOSE FROM, AND SO I JUST WALKED OUT. I DON'T LIKE HAVING A MILLION CHOICES. THIS IS WHY I LOVE RAISING CANE'S - THERE'S LIKE 2 DIFFERENT THINGS ON THE MENU. I CAN MAKE A DECISION WHEN EATING THERE. IT'S GREAT. THIS IS ALSO WHY I CAN'T GO TO CHEESECAKE FACTORY ANYMORE. NOT BECAUSE IT'S JUST MEDIOCRE AND OVERPRICED, BUT MOSTLY BECAUSE THERE'S A MILLION CHOICES AND AINT NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT. SO, I SAID 'FORGET THE PLYWOOD PLAY.' I LOOKED ON AMAZON ABOUT 2.5 YEARS AGO FOR A 'BUNKIE BOARD' - I DON'T REMEMBER HOW I FOUND OUT ABOUT THESE, BUT I DID AND SO I THOUGHT I'D GET EM A CRACK FOR MORE SUPPORT. WELL, I THOUGHT IT'S BETTER THAN WHAT I HAVE - SO I BOUGHT A BUNKIE BOARD THEN WITH LENGTHWISE WOOD SLATS AND LAID IT CROSS-HATCHED TO THE BEDFRAME SLATS. IT SEEMED LIKE A SENSIBLE SOLUTION. AND I DO THINK IT HELPED SOME! BUT...IT STILL SEEMED INADEQUATE. AFTER ALL, THERE WERE STILL SPACES BETWEEN THE TWO SETS OF SLATS, SPACE FOR THE MATTRESS TO SINK INTO OVER TIME AND COMPROMISE THE SUPPORT. YOU MUST HAVE PROPER SUPPORT IN YOUR MATTRESS OR YOU WILL DIE. SO...WE GOT A NEW MATTRESS RECENTLY, IDK I LOST COUNT, MAYBE OUR 8TH OR SOMETHING. AND INITIALLY IT WAS VERY NICE - SUPPORTIVE, FIRM, GOOD FOAM TOPLAYER AND SO ON. BUT...WITHIN WEEKS I FELT AS IF MY SIDE WAS BEGINNING TO KIND OF SAG. HOW!??!?!??! CONFOUND IT, I SAID NO MORE - LET'S LOOK ON AMAZON AGAIN, JUST FOR KICKS, AND SEE IF THERE BE ANY NEW BUNKIE BOARDS I CAN LOOK INTO. AND MY FRIENDS, THAT IS HOW I HAPPENED 'PON THE MELIUSLY HEAVY DUTY 10MM BUNKIE BOARD KING SIZE (76X80") PATENT PENDING LOW PROFILE BED BOARD DESIGN - BREATHABLE, NOISE MINIMIZING, MOISTURE RESISTANT BUNKIEBOARDS, LOW PROFILE BED SUPPORT. THAT'S EITHER THE POWER OF PLACEBO EFFECT OR IT'S THE POWER OF THE MELIUSLY BUNKIE BOARD. IT IS AN INGENIUS DESIGN - LIGHTWEIGHT YET STURDY AND STRONG, FOLDABLE, STORABLE, PORTABLE, ADORABLE. IT HAS GRIPPY GRIPS ON THE BOTTOM SIDE TO PREVENT SLIDING AROUND ON YOUR BEDFRAME - INGENIUS MOVE, MELIUSLY. AND THE OPPOSITE SIDE IS SMOOTH AND EASY TO SLIDE YOUR MATTRESS ONTO, BUT NOT SO BUTTERY THAT YOUR MATTRESS SLIPS AROUND LIKE A BAR OF SOAP ON THE SHOWER FLOOR. So, so very pleased with this. My mattress is plush, and as much as I love my cocoon... my back started to say otherwise. I was torn between this and a new mattress entirely, and I'm glad I went this route instead. Unboxing and putting these in place could not have been any easier, and it 100% firms up the mattress without adding a ton of height like a traditional box spring. Very high quality, and very sturdy too. Oh, and the top of these has a rubber top, so the mattress will stay put! Mine always slid down after a few nights. Queen size bed, these fit a queen size perfectly. 100% pleased with purchase. Give this a try before spending a bunch on a new mattress.
