  • Worked exactly as expected
Style: BONDING
I used this on the hem of a t-shirt that came unraveled. This seems to happen to my shirts more and more these days so I will probably need to use it again. It worked great and remained flexible which is what I needed for a knit fabric. It ironed on easily and instructions were clear on how to use it. I have only washed it once, but it held up through a wash and dry on warm. Hopefully it will last. If not I will just reapply it again, it was so easy it only took a few minutes to do and totally worth it to "save" a shirt that otherwise I would have gotten rid of. ... show more

  • Since it stretches you have to know what you are doing 🤣
Style: BONDING
Love this product, easy to use, and worked very well in a pinch. However, when I washed my clothes, the clothes shrunk in the tape did not stretch to match. If you need something fast for one time, use it. But if you don’t know what you’re doing, it might only work temporarily.

  • Works amazingly once you nail the technique. Even on denim!
Style: BONDING
I love this especially since the roll has way more tape that I expected. So far I mostly use it to hold down hems which have lifted or folds, especially on denim jeans where the legs fold over. I'm not sure why people are having issues with denim but I'm doing great. The instructions seemed simple and technically these are easy to use but I had to play around with technique to get the application right. I've even used this on a swimsuit, though I had to be much more careful with the iron. For jeans, it takes my iron at least a minute while often pressing the steaming button to get all the adhesion from the tape to the material , once I see that shiny rectangle it, I fold over the part of the leg fabric I'm trying to stick down and then it takes at least another two minutes off ironing that spot to stick the other part of the fabric down. I use about two to three one inch pieces for each side of each leg. When I'm done i flip the jeans and iron the area where the fold is, this has helped on sticker jeans when the fold just won't stick. I don't test the adhesion until I'm finished all of this. I can say once it's on, its on and so far only one of the many pieces I've put on garments have lifted after washing. ... show more

  • works great. you MUST use moisture.
Style: BONDING
I think most of the people that complain about these things are not following instructions. It adheres well and easily, but you NEED to use something to transfer the heat through the cloth efficiently. Just like adding oil to a frying pan. You need something to carry the heat to the adhesive.. The steam does this. I experimented with it a bit and you just can't make it come anywhere close to working without steam. I'm sure there are some fabrics it won't work with. But I haven't found them. I used to use it for my military uniforms. Never sewed anything. Pants, patches, whatever, it was, on whatever uniform, it was ironed on. Never had a problem Some of those hems lasted a couple decades till they were ceremonially burned on retirement. Used this particular one to hem my wife's pants for work. Seems to be working fine. A lot easier than sewing modern stretch fabrics... ... show more

  • Fast and efficient when the sewing machine is put away!
Style: BONDING
I bought this because of the stretch and as I had started getting into sewing I realize a lot of my neck lines were way too high and they were making me look very stocky. I was able to lower the neck lines and change to a V neckline which was a lot more flattering on my body type super simple super easy 15 minutes tops. Application was super clear and easy to do and I will update when I have had a longer time with my altered shirts. Right now everything looks great and I’m hoping that it’ll last. ... show more

  • Set iron on cotton (not high) heat!
Style: BONDING
I had trouble with adhesion when I followed the instructions and set my iron on high (linen). Fortunately I had scrap fabric to use so by trial and error found that a lower heat setting worked great. I use the regular HeatnBond and that always worked well on the cotton setting. Evidently that's good for the stretch version too. ... show more

  • Not strongest hold
Style: BONDING
I like that it makes very clean looking hems on stretch knits but it doesn't hold well and will need to be secured with stitching anyway.
