Pros: quick to heat up, easy to turn on/off, nice weight material Cons: jacket is not waterproof. Hood is attached. Runs slightly large (docking 1 star for these cons) My husband doesn’t like to wear big bulky coats when it is cold during our Utah winters. I got this for him thinking it would not be bulky but still have the ability to be plenty warm. The jacket is the perfect weight for just about anything he would be doing outside during our cold winters (with the exception of it not being waterproof…he will likely not use it while snow blowing or when it’s snowing). He feels like he will only rarely need to even use the heater. This does seem to run a tad large. He typically wears a large coat but we settled in on the medium. (While the medium is a smidge on the snug side, large would have been too big) I love heated attire and may or may not have multiple coats, vests, socks etc. I like that this jacket was easy to set up and turn on. (I have another that I can never figure out quite how to operate without having to hard reset it a few times.) ... show more

There are no flaws with the construction of this item. The only thing I did not like was that you have to use the same manufacturer's battery. I have a vest from a different company with a USB connector. Any USB battery pack can power that fast. Battery pack for this jacket is not USB they can't just swap in any battery pack available. The heating elements do not last as long as advertised unless you are at the lowest setting in an already warm environment. The item is very loose fitting so the heating elements are away from your skin unless you're sitting down with your back pressed up against the heating element to feel the full benefits. I like this item overall I just wish the battery was more Universal. That's my only problem with the item. ... show more

Battery takes a while sometimes more than 4hrs to charge but, I have only use this twice. So fsr it gave pretty good heat. It heats up very fast and the material of the coat is very nice and warm. I don’t know if I would put it to tumble dry in the machine or even wash it in the washing machine. So far I am satisfied. ... show more

Soccer dad in Vegas here, tired of freezing when the wind gets going at the fields during winter. This thing gets HOT. It’s honesty not even cold enough to use it on its lowest setting in mid November even at night. I’d recommend buying a size smaller than whatever you normally get. This is my new go to jacket. I live in the northeast and it gets pretty chilly here in the winter. I love the placement of the heating zones. Just the right spots to keep you warm while shoveling snow.
