I got these on black Friday. At that time they were a great deal. Now, not so much. The good: *These are thin enough to be glove liners, but heated well enough to be used without gloves on mild days, exceptions noted below. *The battery life was better than I expected by the chart on my first use. They could use a little more capacity, but to even match what they say is pretty good. I was working outdoors all day, so I had a good chance to test. This is likely fine for anyone spending a few hours out skiing hiking, or shoveling. If you are working outside all day you need at least 2 sets. *Good heat setting range for low to high. I had no trouble finding a good setting at all times. Nice grips on some of the fingers. *Lightweight swappable batteries in a pocket that is comfortable and not in the way of normal gloves. The indifferent: *No water or windproofing. This is a bonus when used as a liner, as they dry out faster, but if they were a little wind and water resistant they would work well alone as a glove on milder days. As is the wind will suck the heat away from your hands. *Batteries are a special lipo that uses a barrel connector, and it only comes with one for each glove. While this has benefits in terms of the ease of use and form factor, extra batteries are a bit expensive, and can't be charged at 1c with a lipo charger, but instead take a few hours to charge with the included special charger. A standard lipo could have been used with a lvc in the glove. I may make one for mine so I can have extra batteries and charge on the go. *Grips make it harder to insert into the gloves. They are good grips, and if the gloves were better suited for use alone this would be fine, but since they depend on an outer layer, this isn't the best. The bad: *No touchscreen capability, even though it says it has it and has pads on the fingers, it doesn't work. This is an issue if used in a glove without touch screen pads, as you now need to remove both to use a phone. *No grips on the index finger and thumb. These are the most important fingers to have them, and if you have them everwhere else and not touchscreen function on those fingers (which is why they are missing, and this would be a neutral not a negative if they worked,) they really should be there. *The heat drops to low level on a timer. This is probably good for some, but every situation is different, and the timer isn't changable. I have raynaud's, so I kept having to bump the heat back up. ... show more

I wanted a pair of gloves that I could work with, outside during the winter. It gets very cold very quick 20-30ft in the air working on parking lot lights and gets very difficult to move your fingers in a short amount of time if uncovered. So these gloves are the perfect solution for that. They're light weight enough to be able to still handle smaller 1/4" hardware yet thick enough to where your fingers won't become immobile. They've got a nice partial grip on the underside of the glove, along half of the palm & all fingers, but not the forefinger or the thumb. I was unable to get these to interact with my touchscreen on my phone. The battery packs seem a little too bulky for the size of these gloves, it's very noticeable visibly when you're wearing the gloves, though they'll likely be covered by sleeves if it's cold enough to wear these. Aside from the size of the batteries, they seem well made, very firm connections to the gloves & the dual charger, so you won't have to worry about them disconnecting accidentally. The functions of these gloves were very smooth, no issues there, turned on after holding for the 1-3 seconds, they come on automatically on high heat (red), one press to blue (med) another to green ( low). The heat seemed to start from right at the battery pack and slowly spread across the top of my hands. After about 10 mins on high heat I had to swap to a lower mode. Batteries took about an hour to fully charge, charged for another 30 mins after the light went green as recommended in their booklet. Make sure to cinch them at the bottom to keep the heat in and these gloves should be perfect for temperatures that don't fall too far into the negative. Unfortunately these glove liners only have enough battery power to run for 2 hours and 10 minutes on high. I feel that they were not putting out that much heat either. For the price if you don’t need much heat or run time they might be with it to you.

    • I got these for my youngest son that has problems with his hands getting cold

My son has loved these heated gloves. His hands get cold easily and has had a time keeping them warm. He hates keeping his hands in his pockets, so these gloves work great. He is able to keep them on their lowest setting most of the time. He trains dogs for a living so he's outside for a couple of hours at a time, several times a day. he will recharge the gloves between training sessions so he doesn't know just how long they will go between charges. They do work well with touch screens, though sometimes. ... show more
