I have been using these aids every day while deciding what my next hearing aids will be and I've found them somewhat better than my initial review. Fit is still a problem because of the thickness and length of the hearing tubes, which are not adjustable, and the blue color makes them stand out to other people, rather than making them less visible as most hearing aids and amplifiers do. I still do not recommend them for long term use but overall they perform about as well as some more expensive units I've tried. They offer basic service and do not need batteries. Pros: The volume is sufficient for my worsening hearing and is adjustable enough to be comfortable under differing conditions. The batteries last at least 2 days of constant use, though they do take several hours to recharge and it's best to do that overnight. I'm careful with them and don't drop them, but they appear to be robust. Cons: Even minor changes in volume sometimes produce very loud, ear-splitting feedback. Similarly when the one of them needs to be recharged it emits one ear blast of sound and shortly thereafter dies The sound quality is fair for speech not usable for music - distorts tones. Only the last program offers any background noise limiting, which they do mainly by limiting higher frequencies. The other programs make no discernable difference. I bought these as a back up while deciding what to replace my hearing aids with. I also thought they might be useful for running - less worry about ruining them with sweat. They have 4 programs but I don't hear much difference except for the high frequency one which helps with speach. amplification range is good but you have to be careful as it gets louder. Feedback is painful. Sound quality is better than expected at this price point. I might keep them if I can use them with a headband but they keep falling out of my ears because the sound tube isnt lo ng enough to accommodate my glasses. I received my order for these aids three days ago and am so far very pleased. Though I knew they would lack some of the features I would get in professionally fitted expensive hearing aids, I was really surprised at how well they performed. And these are the first such devices I've ever tried. Some of the reviews mentioned having problems with "squealing" sounds. Yep, they will do that if the volume is turned too high and/or the part that goes into the ear canal isn't sealed correctly. Or if you cover your ear with your hand. In truth, you should expect to spend at least an hour trying different combinations of inserts and volume settings before making a snap decision that they don't work!! The volume settings range from 0 to 4. I discovered that a click or two below the "1" level worked best for me. (I had already tried 2 and 3 and got lots of squeal and way too loud environmental noise.) I also discovered that using only one of the units worked best for me, having the extra one as a charged backup for when the battery needs to be recharged in one I'm using. The noise cancellation feature requires some "playing with" to get it right. In summary, assuming a person's hearing loss has been a gradual process as my has been (I'm 76 years old) I think you will find you'll be hearing things you've NOT been hearing for years. (You might want to hit the "off" switch while driving your vehicle ---- the road noise will drive you crazy! :-) ) Makes watching television and carrying on conversations a lot more pleasant. I'm a 30 year old who got diagnosed with sudden sensorineural hearing loss about 5 months ago. My hearing loss is pretty minor. Everything in my right ear is muffled and it gets hard to hear in loud settings. I ordered these because it was in my budget. As soon as I put them in I noticed a difference. I'm hearing a lot better than before. It increases all volume, so sudden loud noises are a bit unsettling but for the price I'd say they are excellent quality. ... show more

I'm hard on my hearing aids and I tend to lose them, so these are very affordable if (when!) I mess up. I use the second setting to accommodate my type of hearing loss and I only need to barely turn up the volume as these are very strong. While they aren't as custom tailored to my hearing loss as my Costco aids were, I actually like them better because they give me more options for whatever environment I'm in. ... show more

I bought these hearing aids August 16, 2022. They are okay for a low cost item. There still is some background noise. I liked that they were rechargeable. I wear them occasionally when I go out. Unfortunately in November one of the hearing aids had no sound after charging. Product name is Air Conduction Hearing Aid in the booklet. The batteries have a one year warranty but there’s no contact information such as an email, website or phone number. ... show more

My audiologist was trying to sell me $7500 new hearing aids and I think that is why they quoted $690 to replace one of the transducers that fit into the ear so I was using just one hearing aid. Then I lost the second hearing aid. I bought these as a backup set as I am waiting on my appointment at COSCO for new hearing aids. They are rather large but they do work as a temporary fix. One of the 5V Chargers had a broken USB connection so I had to charge one from my MAC. The length of the leads is too short for my big head but again OK for a back up pair. Must have been sized for smaller heads. Can only use the volume at setting ar 1 or they feedback like crazy. But they do amplify enough for my moderate level of hearing loss. The manual is written in Chinglish - some of the worst I have seen in years. Overall - more cheap Chinese junk, but for my purpose they are OK. ... show more
