  • QUICK AND EASY TO USE - Detect unsafe levels of 4 common heavy metals in your drinking water in less than 15 minutes. The simple, clear instructions make this hassle-free test kit super easy to use at home.
  • MADE IN USA - Dont rely on foreign-made test kits which are often designed for wastewater testing, not drinking water. All our tests are made in the USA and calibrated to EPA standards. This means you can rely on the test results to indicate the safety of your water.
  • LOW-LEVEL DETECTION / HIGHLY SENSITIVE - Unlike other versions on the market, these test strips allow for measurements in very fine increments. Whether you are testing heavy metals in your well, tap or filtered water, low-level detection and accuracy is a must.
  • INDIVIDUAL RESULTS - Instead of a cumulative sum, this testing kit tells you precisely which metals are present in your water. This easy to use test kit includes Lead, Copper, Iron and Mercury tests.
  • DEDICATED TEAM OF EXPERTS - You can always count on our team of EPA experts, with more than 30 years of expertise in the water quality industry. We are single-mindedly devoted to helping you with any questions you may have about the test kit or water quality testing in general.

  • Accuracy? Not sure. Easy to use? Yes.
The kit was very easy to use. I was able to test my filtered tap water and unfiltered tap for all tests except lead (there was only one test kit for lead). It appears our tap water is fine according to the results. I am not sure how accurate the results were. We did get our water tested by a water specialist prior to getting an RO system installed. The specified minerals were not tested but it was shared with us that our water is “very hard water” with “little chlorine”. So we will decide on a water softener system later as it is not within our budget. So, as for the kit, easy to use but unsure about accuracy of results. ... show more

  • Accurate and quick results.
I needed to know where the lead was coming from in my house because my toddlers lead levels were high. I didn’t want to wait for mail away results. Instructions were easy and results were quick. The source was indeed my backyard soil.

  • Very Good Home Test Kit
The test kit is as advertised. It is comprehensive and quick. And it doesn't require mailing in samples to a lab. The actual test procedures themselves require care and attention; however, this is what one would expect for a discriminating test of one's water supply. All in all, I had no problems or issues with the tests except for one. The one downside that I encountered was with reading the results of the Mercury test. The Mercury test strip right out of the box has a color shade that is very, very close to the shade that would have indicated unsafe levels of Mercury. I have no concerns that my municipal water supply is contaminated with Mercury, so that particular test was not a cause for concern for me; however, this is the one test where it really should be easier to read whether there is, in fact, some amount of Mercury contamination. ... show more

  • Good test for the price
My wife is pregnant with our first child so you start thinking of safety for your new family member. I knew we didn't have a serious problem with lead in my area but I wanted to make sure. The company shipped their product very promptly. It's comes with several test like it describes. I ordered for the lead test. My one little complaint would be the pipet they provide. It's hard to gauge how much water was needed for accuracy. The test took a total of ten minutes. The reading was simple positive or negative. It doesn't give a full diagnosis of how much lead is in your water but for the price it will give you good a starting point. ... show more

  • Simple basic water test for 4 heavy metals
Test showed that my tap and filtered water has acceptable levels of all 4 of these heavy metals. My water filter (aquagear) seems to remove Cu. Only had 1 test for Pb so only tested the tap water and assumed the filtered water Pb levels would be at or lower than tap. Likes: fast and easy to use, 2 tests for copper (Cu), iron (Fe), and mercury (Hg). Dislikes: only 1 test for lead (Pb), chlorine interferes with Hg by imparting a blue/green color making reading Hg difficult to impossible. Chlorine will evaporate over time so one work around is to let the water sit for 24 hours before testing. ... show more

  • Difficult color matching
The copper and mercury litmus style color test was easy to set up but, if you had a reading over 0ppm, it was hard to judge an accurate range. This was especially true for the mercury. The color tone for 0ppm was a pale gold and the next color level at 0.002ppm was VERY minimally darker. Unfortunately, that first level would then place the mercury content at the max for USEPA contamination of drinking water. That's a problem, no room for error. The copper test was more forgiving. The color change was more apparent if you reach the max USEPA level for this metal. To be fair, if I were using this kit on a regular basis I might be better at judging the different ranges. In general, I would probably give this another try since my main concerns are lead & copper contamination. ... show more

  • Missing mercury test
My kit came with extra copper tests and no mercury tests. The tests seemed to work since we tested positive for iron as expected. I would have liked to have tested for mercury too, however.

  • Newark water filtered through Brita safe!
News recently broke about the pipelines in Newark seeping lead into the water. I have been Brita-ing my water since moving here from Brooklyn and was happy to see that the Brita water was within the guidelines and safe to consume. The only downside is that it only comes with one lead test so I was not able to compare against the straight from the tap water. All in all, with good lighting, the test was pretty easy to read as my husband and I are familiar with strips like this for testing our fish tanks ph levels so I am a happy customer. Thanks! ... show more
