This Aaoera Headphone Stand Wood, Headphone Holder arrived in perfect condition. It is of high quality and will be very elegant looking in your entertainment center holding your headphones. The metal base is heavy and keeps the stand pretty steady with my full-coverage headphones setting on the stand. You do need to be careful when placing the headphones on the pedestal though as there are no grooves or raised edges to assist in keeping the headphones from sliding off. This headphone stand is great, one of the best I've ever had! I have a lot of headphones in my collection, and I'm always looking for good stands to keep them all organized. This stand is both very stylish and highly functional. The top section that supports the headphones is made from eco-friendly bamboo, which is impressively durable and has a lightweight yet stable design. It holds the headphones in place perfectly, provides exceptional support and prevents them from slipping off. I really like that the top of the stand that supports the headphones' headband has a wide and round shape and does not deform the headband's cushion due to excessive pressure during long-term storage. When you hang your headphones on it, the cans will rest against the vertical sides of the stand, helping to hold the headphones in place and minimizing stress on the ear pads. The base is made of aluminum and is heavier than the bamboo top, making it more stable and keeping it from tipping over. There is a rubber pad at the bottom that prevents slipping. In conclusion, I really like the simple and modern design of the stand. I ordered this on a whim, not realizing that it was on a preorder. The wait was worth it. It's real wood, with the tell being the chamfer on the inside. The base is very nice, with a single bolt holding it to the body. I'm not super sure about it holding the headband a little wider than what it does naturally, but I have that problem with a lot of headphone stands. It's very elegant, and minimalistic. I like this headphone stand. It has a sleek and modern look, and I like how the wood and metal sections complement each other. The wooden section is tall enough to keep most headphone connectors above the surface. Some headphones, like my Sony and Beyerdynamic ones, clamp onto the wooden section; my Sennheiser headphones balance on the stand more or less. The curvature at the top of the wooden section fits nicely between the headband cushions of the Sennheiser, so it still feels solid on the stand even if not clamped in place. The base has a smooth rubber bottom and is somewhat weighted. You can still move it around accidentally when removing or placing headphones. If you find a spot for it to live, I recommend using double-sided tape to secure it better. ... show more
