I received a head strap without an included battery, so I obviously can't speak to the battery benefit. But at $10 at time of order, I highly recommend this strap for use with the Quest 2. It is very easy to install, and adjust with the hand wheel once it is put on the Quest. It has a padded top, and it's more comfortable than the original. It can fit a variety of head sizes with less effort, too. I wish we had gotten and installed earlier, but at least we have it now! ... show more

I was surprised to realize that the stock head strap of the headset was very uncomfortable. I quickly searched for alternatives and found this one. It fits great and makes wearing the headset MUCH more enjoyable. The one issue is that because it will be more comfortable to wear you will wear it longer and will experience battery drain sooner than expected (depending on type of use), so you'll need to connect to a power source. ... show more

This is the most comfortable headset I’ve had so far. It’s very affordable and worth the price. It’s high quality and very durable. I’ve had it for a long time know and it’s very durable I have no issues of it being in the way when I charge it. I highly recommend this VR headset.

The thing that I don't need to say? The Quest 2 is front heavy and it sucks having it press on your face like that especially for long hours. I've tried the pro strap, it was fine, not perfect, but better than the vanilla strap. This strap though? Perfection, I'm sure you couldn't make it more comfortable if you tried. It evens out the pressure and weight to the front and back of your head and cushions it above and behind flawlessly. Such an improvement over the original head strap! My children share the VR headset, and their heads are all different sizes. Before I got this head strap, my kids would constantly ask me to adjust the size which involved pulling straps in different directions and always confused me. It also did not hug the smaller heads well, and the headset would fall forward. This head strap is perfect!!! It hugs the head nicely so that the headset does not sag forward.     • Definitely worth getting if you have glasses or multiple head sizes using it
This head strap is so much better than the original strap. Three of four of us have glasses and it helps with taking it off and on, the back flips up easily so you can pull the eye part straight out from your face, and not smush your glasses to your face. It also easy to adjust the tightness one handed when going from a small kids head to an adult. The back also has a pad that is pretty comfortable and squishy. It does take sometime getting used to it though on the back of the head, with the squishy pillow it feels like it isn't on your head securely, but it is, just takes some getting used to. ... show more

Bought this for the Oculus Quest 2. There were no instructions. Was a bit confusing as first trying to attach it. Once it was attached, it was easy to use as part of the Oculus headset. Definitely made it more comfortable to use. Especially when it for several hours each night.
