For a while now, i've been having really serious issues with a dry, flaky, itchy, red, and scaly hairline and face. It's literally taking over the entirety of my face and my hairline, even going behind and in my ears and down to the back of my neck. I try to keep up with my hair and my skin, So with this coming out of nowhere, I was very blindsided, Embarrassed And dismayed. Given my hair type, i can't wash my hair every day, Especially after I get it done, so I couldn't use head and shoulders shampoo and conditioner daily to help me with this issue. But then I found THIS. it's from Head and Shoulders, but it's specifically made for black people or people with really kinky, coarse or curly hair. I start applying this several times a day to my hairline, what I noticed my hair line looking a bit white or would I was starting to feel itchy, I would just apply it, even toting it around iny pocket at work so I could pull it out as needed. First of all the smell is amazing. The thickness is like that of a basic cream, not runny at all. It applies smoothly and doesn't leave a greasy after feel or residue. After using this stuff like my life depended on it a few times a day for a few weeks, I realized one day that I hadn't used it in a long time, because my head wasn't itchy or flaky!!! I have a hard time keeping up with regimens, so I depended on the itch to keep me reminded lol. It's been about a month or so since I've applied it and I still haven't had any flakes or itch! I still have to tackle the issue with my face, but my hairline is back to normal! I wish I had pictures, the difference is night and day. I absolutely love this product. I have had dry scalp issues for years and felt like I had tried everything under the sun but I came across this product and started using it consistently. It has made such an incredible difference on my scalp and I can go longer without having to watch my scalp bc it’s actually moisturized and feels clean. I’ve been struggling with pretty bad scalp issues for almost a year now. I can’t seem to get it under control and have tried a bunch of different things. I think it’s been improving recently though and this product seems to be helping at least somewhat. This smells really nice and the nozzle is perfect for getting product straight to your roots. I have fine auburn Caucasian hair and would recommend applying this either on a day you plan to wash your hair and it’s already fairly oily or shortly before washing it. I Wouldn’t recommend applying to freshly cleaned hair as it will probably make it a bit oily/greasy if that’s an issue for you. ... show more

This product not only soothes my scalp, it makes styling my hair easier. I also use the companion Head and Shoulders shampoo. I tried to place it along my part as is suggested, but I find it easier to dispense into my hand and massage it into my scalp with my fingertips.
