For a while now, i've been having really serious issues with a dry, flaky, itchy, red, and scaly hairline and face. It's literally taking over the entirety of my face and my hairline, even going behind and in my ears and down to the back of my neck. I try to keep up with my hair and my skin, So with this coming out of nowhere, I was very blindsided, Embarrassed And dismayed. Every time I scratched my head, I would see flakes falling and my hairling was completely white with dryness and flakes. I used moisturizing creams that I would normally use on my face and my everyday hair oils, but nothing worked longterm and id just have to keep reapplying them. Ive deduced that I may have a bad case of seborrheic dermatitis, but i needed to tackle the issue through 2 separate mediums, starting with my hair. Given my hair type, i can't wash my hair every day, Especially after I get it done, so I couldn't use head and shoulders shampoo and conditioner daily to help me with this issue. But then I found THIS. it's from Head and Shoulders, but it's specifically made for black people or people with really kinky, coarse or curly hair. I start applying this several times a day to my hairline, what I noticed my hair line looking a bit white or would I was starting to feel itchy, I would just apply it, even toting it around iny pocket at work so I could pull it out as needed. First of all the smell is amazing. The thickness is like that of a basic cream, not runny at all. It applies smoothly and doesn't leave a greasy after feel or residue. After using this stuff like my life depended on it a few times a day for a few weeks, I realized one day that I hadn't used it in a long time, because my head wasn't itchy or flaky!!! I have a hard time keeping up with regimens, so I depended on the itch to keep me reminded lol. It's been about a month or so since I've applied it and I still haven't had any flakes or itch! I still have to tackle the issue with my face, but my hairline is back to normal! I wish I had pictures, the difference is night and day. I have issue with dry and itchy scalp, after only one use this product helped so much . Per directions it says that it can be used on wet ot dry hair. I did use it when my hair was wet, it dried lifting my hair and did not have that dry , flaky hair I had before. Did not leave it oily either. Not that it only helped with dry scalp, but with styling as well. I loved that top, bottle dispenser, it is easy to get it all over your scalp. ... show more

I’ve been struggling with pretty bad scalp issues for almost a year now. I can’t seem to get it under control and have tried a bunch of different things. I think it’s been improving recently though and this product seems to be helping at least somewhat. This smells really nice and the nozzle is perfect for getting product straight to your roots. I have fine auburn Caucasian hair and would recommend applying this either on a day you plan to wash your hair and it’s already fairly oily or shortly before washing it. I Wouldn’t recommend applying to freshly cleaned hair as it will probably make it a bit oily/greasy if that’s an issue for you. ... show more

I have been using this product per instructions on box for my dry scalp and dandruff and it leaves more or less a tingling scalp feeling which feels really good. I have now used it for three days and when I rub my hair in the afternoon I don't see the flakes fall out like before. I have been using different brands of shampoo and and shampoo my hair every morning when I take a shower. I recently started Isotretinoin and everyone knows that makes your skin dry. I noticed my scalp getting dry and flaky so I wanted something to moisturize it. This works amazing! I have sensitive skin. Frequently, I will get a rash. Rarely does the rash go to my scalp. I don't normally have a dry skin issue on my scalp or dandruff, but for some reason this fall it was awful!!! So I purchased this cream to help and IT ACTUALLY WORKED. I applied it to my scalp and the dry skin magically disappeared for the day. Now it did come back at night, but I could deal with that. When I was out in public, the dry skin was under control. This condition lasted for about 3 months. When I applied the cream, my hair was not oily looking. I could style is as usual. Happily, after about 3 months the rash has mostly disappeared.
