The marketing, including any YouTube review videos would lead you to believe this is a product for black woman with curly and coily hair. It's all the promo pictures and nearly every YouTube video. I'm a 40 year white male with wavy hair who has struggled with itchy dry scalp and flakes for as long as I can remember. I would find myself subconsciously picking at scratching at my scalp all the time. This stuff, at the very least, helps with the dry and itchyness. I've only had it for a couple days and flakes seem to be nearly gone as well. Other reviews say it made their hair feel greasy but I think those people used too much product. Apply it directly to the scalp as best you can and use finger tips to massage it in everywhere. Yea you'll get some in your hair there's no way around it but if you don't use a ton of rhe product it won't be greasy. It also has a clean smell to it, almost like shampoo ... show more

When I tell you this was a LIFESAVER, it really was. I put it on and the IMMEDIATE relief I felt was amazing. It fully hydrated my scalp with minimal to no itching. For years I have tried to find a moisturizer that would relieve the dryness, itchiness, and dandruff that I suffered from on a regular basis with my scalp. The only product that worked was Sulfur 8. The product itself is really excellent and helps relieve my dry, itchy, flaky scalp. I was disappointed to find that the top protective screw off cap was missing and some of the product leaked into the shipping envelope. I won't return it as I love the product and only a bit leaked.
