  • Mediocre Reference Material
This book is not well organized. I know they are trying to cover many subjects and multiple configurations in a limited amount of space, but even some simple procedures require flipping between different sections of the book. For instance, changing the cabin air filter references a different chapter for removing the glove box and then returning for the steps to change the air filter. Without prior research and videos, I would not have known from checking the book that I have to take off the upper half of the intake manifold to get to the spark plugs. The book does say that intake components may need to be removed depending on which engine the vehicle has, but it doesn't specify which parts for which engine. That being said, once you know which parts to take off, there are steps and pictures for those parts. It also has useful tables of information for fluid requirements and capacities, torque values, and some troubleshooting. It is a handy reference to have, but unlike other similar books or the Haynes books of the past, the book itself will not clearly walk you through a maintenance procedure. ... show more

  • Good Purchase
My only gripe is that it does not have any wiring diagrams for my 2012 Overland Summit. Which is kind of important to me because I intend on changing out the old radio. I think I can find them somewhere online though. Also, I have not gone through any major projects with it yet to know if it has sufficient information. But it seems like my last. ... show more

  • Not too bad good to get an idea of what is going on
Lacks information on some models of Grand cherokee along with features. Description of doing some repairs could be a little bit more detailed. Still somewhat gives an idea of where certain parts are located but not much.

  • Ok
Not many brands to choose from, nor are any readily available when a new car comes out. The other brand has more detail and pictures to illustrate, thus more pages, which probably worth the extra $$$.

  • Good resource
Some complain these manuals don't go into enough detail, but the objective is to cover many, many subjects at a moderate level of detail. This manual has excellent overviews of most repairs one would need to do above and beyond basic maintenance. The books also have tables for specifications for fluids and other maintenance items (spark plug gap, plug firing order, etc.) so they become more of a resource than an exact "how-to" with step by step pictures for every single possilbe repair, which is what some expect. Anyone performing their own maintenance and repairs on their vehicle should keep one of these in the tool box. ... show more

  • Stick with the one vehicle manual, way less confusing.
It is a bit to confusing to have 3 different vehicles and with 6 different engines being thrown together in each section especially when diagrams for some parts only show one engine that has the part in a way different area of engine.

  • Accurate information
So far I am slightly disappointed with this book. The first issue I looked up was installation of rear wiper blades. It was not addressed. Sounds easy enough, however there was a trick to it. Thanks to You Tube I found the process. Hope has better info for future procedures.
