This stand is engineered very poor. It’s way too difficult to assemble and after I got done it still dosnt look trustworthy. I’m 6’3” and 190lbs and this thing is way too small especially with me being 20ft up. I barely fit on the seat and my feet barely fit on the plat form with the seat down. The stand leans forward like it’s gonna dump you out. The cables that came in the box are over an inch in difference yet they’re still too short. I guess HAWK STANDS drills the three wholes because they know they arnt accurate??? I should’ve waited to buy a MUDDY STAND ... show more

    • Good Sturdy Tree Stand but tough for one person to put together
First the pros of all I like the stand, very comfortable and I purchased the Cruzr attachment to go along with it. Great setup. Now the cons, stand is sturdy and a little heavy, also hard to get supports for seat in with only one person. It does fit but VERY tight. Overall a good stand at a decent price ... show more

Wanted a treestand that utilized a hanging bracket to make hanging easier and safer and I found this. For less than $100, it's hard to beat. Although assembling the seat proved to be somewhat difficult, the end product is wonderful. Sturdy when hung and the platform is roomy and solid. The seat with lumbar is a great bonus. I do agree with some reviews that the length of seat does take up some room to move on the platform, it's not to a point where I feel unsafe in this stand. Overall I highly recommend and definitely pick up the cruzr bracket. ... show more

The assembly was absolutely the worst. Holes not lined up, frame piece's bent. I will never buy another Hawk stand in my life. My wife enjoyed the vocal out bursts through out the assembly process. Not to mention, I’m headed home from so I can get my impact drill so I can’t actually get some bolts snug so the stand doesn’t flop around. ... show more

I’m normally very comfortable in hang-on stand. This one not so much. When I sit down feet hang off the platform, it’s a pretty small platform to be called a XL compared to the other XL. It hangs way to far from the tree so if your in a tree with a angle on it you feel like your going to get dumped out of it. If your in a big tree trying to turn the corner to get up in it my coat wants to get hung up on the chair and you can’t attach the back of the chair to the tree like normal because it’s 5-8 inches off the tree. It really a shame because I can hang this stand in 15 mins with quick attach that’s sold separately, I feel like it should come with it for the price of this stand. I’m not really worried about weight but weights as much as my rivers edge XL Bigfoot hang on and it’s one of the most comfortable stands to be in! Hawk hang-on with the quick attach is a clever though but I don’t think it was truly tested very well. One more thing hawk you need bigger tree belt straps the ones you send with it won’t reach around 90% of my trees. Our safety should be your concern not saving 50 cent on straps. ... show more
