My cat hates all this really but laser pointers and those have to move slowly, she's a little slow. I read all the reviews first and when the first one arrived a dud I didn't sweat it. Called tech support, we tried a few things, on the end they had to replace it. Sad but worth it! I put it on my cat upside down but angled away from her face and the collar is just loose enough that if she gets caught on anything she can slip out (she's indoors only and yes I watch her but she's a cat and faster than me). Arrived yesterday and had to try it immediately. The cat loved it and syarted playing with it immediately. I read some of the reviews saying that the laser was not adjustable enough and it would point to the pets chin. That may be an issue with cats with longer fur but mine was ok. I would suggest letting it hang looser around the neck than your regular name tag collar so thay the laser can point on the floor at the roght angle. My cat is collar and harness trained (since recenty at age 7) and doe not try to get the collar off because she fonds it so entertaining, even though she probably easly could do it with how loose I let the laser collar hang. ... show more

This has exceeded my expectations of a laser toy, to sit and watch the cat run around with it and try to figure out where it is coming from is a blast. We have a few cats that just want to eat it but it has held up with them trying to do so! It having the ability to move up and down slightly adds to it being closer or farther away from the cat making them run a little bit more. ... show more

Agree with other reviews, the toy is good if you use it manually to play with the cat. And it's pretty as a collar decoration. But as a collar toy: 1. The adjustable angle range is weird. The laser beam points toward the chin of the cat, thus the light can be blocked by the fur and the cat may not be able to see it. And it can only be adjusted even closer toward the chin rather than further away from the chin. So the adjustable feature doesn't make sense to me. 2. The laser pointer cannot stay steady right under the chin of cat. When the cat plays with the laser point, the collar is rotating around her neck and the pointer will tilt to the side. As a result, the laser point will not be in front of her view and she won't realize the laser. That happens every time she plays with it for a few minutes and I need to adjust the collar for her. It may be improved if I further tighten the collar, but I don't want her to feel uncomfortable or suffocated. Attached are two pics to show how the pointer tilt and she doesn't realize the laser even it's on. 3. Time interval. 15mins play 90 mins sleep is designed to be a safety feature when parents are away and the cats can play on their own. But with the two problems above, in the 15 mins, the cat may just notice the beam for about 5 mins. And she does not like the collar on her neck all the time. So it would be great if there is an option for the laser can be always on, or at least an hour, that I can put the collar on and she plays with it for an hour, and then take off the collar. ... show more

Now I know my cats are getting fun exercise every day! I’ll put the collar on one of them and both of them will run all over the house chasing the red dot. Today when we had to take it off and charge it, one of them went over and sat next to it. ❤️

My cat goes crazy for this toy. He loves it! He can play for hours but there is a time shut off on it after an amount of time which is nice. It also has solid light or blinking function.
