  • Does exactly what it's supposed to do
Size: Long Strainer Wrench
This wrench worked like a charm. I was able to hold my old, corroded drain basket to back off the rusty retaining nut. Not sure how I could have done without this wrench. Recomended!

  • Fit my STANDARD sized Kohler drain, but not my aftermarket deep drain w/plastic threads
Size: Long Strainer Wrench
This fit from the top or the bottom, to keep the drain from turning when installing. Not sure why others had a problem "not fitting." I used this on my kitchen sink. I probably won't ever need it again, but it's here just in case I do. 3 days later, I saw, because amazon pushed to me through advertising, a deeper drain that I will probably prefer. This wrench WILL be used again so I am glad I have it. Looks like I may be a pro by the end of the year if this keeps up. After receiving my new deep drain, this wrench does NOT fit it. My new drain has plastic threads and a plastic nut so if this is the type of drain you have, this will not work for that. I do not know if they make a wrench compatible with the plastic deep drains. After looking at SEVERAL similar wrenches, I chose this because the bar could be placed into either end as opposed to the center of the wrench. This helps you hold it and provide resistance getting a better grip on it. Good choice and I have no complaints. ... show more

  • Works, but bent very easily
Size: Strainer Wrench
It’s cheap for a reason and you probably will have to cut your sink drain retaining piece off anyway

  • Decent
Size: Strainer Wrench
So it works very well except the annoying part. It's too short for the rod to fit in when you're using it inside the sink.

  • Perfect
Size: Long Strainer Wrench
Replaced gasket on sink, this made it a piece of cake

  • Poor design, good materials but MAN! May work with new installations but NOT for disassembly of old.
Size: Long Strainer Wrench
I needed to disassemble and old kitchen sink strainer basket that had the basket nut nearly welded on with age. I needed to insert the new tool from below so that I could control the spin of both parts in opposite directions all at the same time. This tool would not engage the basket from below. I ended up whacking away from below and eventually disengaged the threads enough to loosen the old basket. I suppose this tool may have worked (from above) installing the new setup but I had already returned the tool for a refund (thank you Amazon!) so I made due without it. The new installation was a breeze. ... show more

  • was able to open a stuck sink drain that other wrench could not
Size: Long Strainer Wrench
I had difficulties unscrewing a kitchen sink drain as it was leaking and let the dirty liquid glue the parts together. I could not open with several pliers blocking the drain hole and another cross shape tool. I did not have any issue with this tool.
