Very portable and easily links to phone/bluetooth. Haven’t run it more than 3 hrs without being plugged in, so I don’t know what it’s ‘battery life’ would be, but no problems so far. Also, bluetooth reception is excellent without dropping. Mutes when a phone call is received, then reconnects the music after the conversation is finished. My only disappointment is low volume sound isn’t the quality expected, but anything above low and the sound is excellent (I enjoy good music/sound balance, but don’t consider myself an audiophile). ... show more

I I had the studio 7 to compare side by side. The studio 7 is stereo sound however, it sounds like someone bumped up the EQ in the mid-range and turned down the volume in the treble. The studio 7 left me wanting much more! Seriously, I was so excited to get my hands on the studio 7. Don't buy the studio 7, it's garbage!! The studio 6's highs and mids are excellent and and vocals are forward sounding. I wish the studio 6 came in stereo, but the sound is SO good that it's easily overlooked. I tried out many speakers such as the JBL extreme 2, Treblab and numerous other speakers --- even the Onyx studio 4 - BUT THE BASS WAS SO WEAK WITH ALL OF THESE. What I really like about the studio 6 is that it's very portable, the bass is the best for the price in this size and it's not another run of the mill sounding Bluetooth speakers.
