I don't write reviews for the items I purchase on Amazon, but I found it fit that I write one today for this one. I have been a big fan of these since 1996, when a classmate of mine parents had brought them back from their trip to Germany. Let it be known, there are differences in this product based on which product you purchase. There is the US version and the European version, which you can purchase both easily online. The most common notice between these two product types are taste and texture, with appears of size, color and packaging of these gummies. The Eurpean version has more of a waxy texture that may pull out a few fillings or partials,and for most may appear to have a much less sweeter taste. The US Version has more of a gummie, get stuck in your teeth texure, softer, and I find, much sweeter than its European brother. All in all, I prefer the German/ European version, because it was the first one I tried and fell in love with. This review does NOT included the sour version of this treat, which I have not tried. Either way, both are FANTASTIC! Likes do depend on which version you prefer. Let it be known, this style of European candy may not be for all, but its worth a try if you enjoy other Haribo products, US or European. ... show more

My Aunt and Uncle live in Germany and brought these for my Grandma. I tried one and loved the different texture from the original Haribo gummies. When I bought my own (American version) I was so disappointed that they didn’t taste the same. I just got the German version today and they’re exactly what I wanted! these are the most delicious of all gummy candies in my opinion. They are not gummi like haribo goldi-bears, or other gummy bears, because rather than gelatin, I think they are made with pectin or something, and so they have the texture of swedish fish. I personally love this texture, my husband says they stick to his teeth too much. The price is a little much, but it's hard to find them at all in the US, and I got hooked on them at a Duld in Nuernberg, where they were sold in a big paper cone bulk. They taste like blueberries and other berries, and are really the yummiest. The ingredients include: Orange, Holunder-berry (elderberry) , lemon, black currant, aronia berry and grape extracts, which is probably why they taste so good. These are just what I ordered, but definitely were pricey for 1 package of gummies! They are my favorite though!

The gummies weren’t very gummy, they were dry and stale. They also really stick to your teeth, more so than any other candy (other than toffee) I have ever eaten. They were pretty cute though.

Same consistency as Swedish fish or jelly babies. They taste ok, but they are not gummy
