I got this as gift for my new nephew and he and his parents LOVE IT! They told me it was super easy to use and program. I saw reviews mentioning the volume but since we like other products from the company, we went with this one (also it was just so darn cute!). My brother said the volume is plenty loud while on the base and works great. When it’s taken off the base, the volume decreases so it’s never too loud just in case it’s close to the baby’s ears, which we thought was a cool design feature. I was so excited for this sound machine. It’s adorable and makes some great claims about helping soothe and sleep train your baby. Not even a little. It is cute, that’s it. The light feature has an automatic dimmer that is meant to adjust to the light in the room. I would be trying to use the light for middle of the night feedings or changings and it would dim itself all the way down to where it was nearly off and I couldn’t see usually completely at random. I’d tap it to turn the brightness back up, 10 minutes later it would turn itself back down again. I fought with this light CONSTANTLY. Insanely frustrating. The sound feature - which should be the most important as this is a sound machine - was awful quality. There is not even a plain white or brown noise option. We usually went with the rain setting because it was the closest to white noise. Not that it mattered because it was so quiet even when turned up all the way. And if you take it off the charging dock, forget it. You can barely hear it at all. The whole purpose of this sound machine is it is supposed to soothe, have a touch light, and be portable. The light function does whatever it wants, the sound quality is terrible, and both of those get even worse as soon as you take it off the dock making it not very portable. It is also very expensive for not being a good item. I wish I could return it but I bought it early before my baby was born and by the time I realized how terrible it was, it was too late to return. It is now collecting dust and I bought a Hatch. If you’re going to spend $60+ on a sound machine, save yourself the trouble and skip this one. Go straight to the hatch. ... show more

The tap bottom for the light has to be tapped multiple times to work very annoying . Hardly use the light for that reason because can’t shut it off easily either . The sound diminishes at least 50% if not on charger . Sound is also not loud enough , has to be right by the crib to be loud enough . Only good feature is that it has the same sound as the snoo, so good for transition to crib . Disappointed in the quality otherwise , i expected more since we loved the snoo ... show more

Absolutely love this white noise machine! It makes the same sounds as the SNOO does which helps with the transition from SNOO to crib! The dimmer night light is also great for diaper change without having to turn on the lights. Finally, the design is very cute! The only reason that I am not giving 5-star is that it doesn’t work with wifi (the purpose is to avoid having wifi near your baby, which is great, but I personally wouldn’t mind as the SNOObie is 4 ft away from the crib always on the charger - the sound is louder when it is on the charger). You can create a naptime routine with the SNOObie app and tap your phone to sync with SNOObie, but it does not allow you to control the volume/sounds on demand from your phone if it’s not a pre-established routine. ... show more

With such low volume, I assume the white noise is more of a pattern-based element to guide sleep rather than to drown out background noise. The light is too bright; a little overwhelming. The media could not be loaded. We’ve been using the Snoobie since my son got out the Snoo, so about 16 months. We love it so much that when we lost ours in a house fire, we ordered a replacement the same day lol. Couldn’t imagine his nursery without it (and we always bring it on trips). Video shows the light on the lowest setting in the dark. I find much brighter than that to be too bright for overnight, particularly if it’s in their line of sight. Cute design and theoretically has some cool functions but they don’t work that well. The light dims to be so low that I can barely see anything and the sound settings don’t have a lot of range.

The snoobie won’t transition sounds between routine settings and then spontaneously the light stopped working. The time doesn’t adjust with daylight savings. I reached out to Customer service and they refused to help me because I purchased through Amazon, even though it was from the Happiest baby store. Customer service was horrible, they offered no actual troubleshooting or explanation, and redirected me to get a refund through Amazon, but it is outside the window for return. ... show more
