I did not want a plastic mat for my desk chair (after reading reviews on several I was looking at, stiff, crack, yellowing etc.) however I did want to protect my new carpet in my work area at home. I came across this adorable and chic looking round rug and Iโ€™m so happy I did! The reviews are accurate this rug is SO soft and velvety and gives my work space such a soft feminine look and feel! I know itโ€™s not the best for rolling my desk chair on as it does move and roll up BUT since I work from home 10-12 hour days 6-7 days a week I wanted โ€œmy space to be just that mineโ€ and I do stand majority of the time and this rug is so soft on my feet. This rug is gorgeous and ultra soft. It's a perfect fit in the area I purchased it for. The only problem is that it is a huge pain to vacuum. Best option is to either shake it out or use something less powerful than an Dyson upright to vacuum.

The actual center of rug is nice. The tassels that hang off of the rug look greatโ€ฆBut I washed the rug on gentle cycle for the first time and the tassels got all knotted up and some came off. Not very happy with it.
