The light strand is very thin and tangles easily while wrapping around the macrame so try and keep it wound up as it was packaged and gradually unwind it while applying it. The remote battery compartment was very difficult to open, mine broke but I'm still able to use it. I gave this product 5 stars because I like it. I would have rated this higher but there were not enough twinkle lights to wrap around like the instructions said. And the instructions were not easy to follow, only showed arrows pointing in directions that did not easily explain which direction to wrap the twinkle light wire properly. The wire ended up breaking it was so flimsy. Disappointed in product. Would have been a much better Christmas gift if the twinkle lights had not been tangled from packaging. ... show more
