I’m 5’6”, 160-165lbs size XL. Most of my weight is in my stomach and I have thin legs. Shorts fit great, little baggy in legs but very comfortable. I bought two pair and wish I could find more colors. Love the length also and the price was great! Would definitely buy more!

So like a lot of other reviews, I got the black and the dark gray. I would absolutely say they are true to size as a normally in pants now get a large and they are the perfect comfort large - but definitely not too large. The black are 100% cotton and the gray are a cotton poly blend. Hands-down, I like the dark gray short the best! Unlike some of the other reviews, both of mine came, the exact same size and the exact same length, but little bit shorter than I was expecting from the pictures. They were both also a little stiff as others have mentioned before washing. I washed them both right away and the dark gray stayed really nice looking and the cotton black, to me, looks like sloppy shorts that are also magnetic to every cat hair I have lol. As a person that wears almost all black, they’re definitely my least favorite and I am going to wear them for sleeping in because 100% cotton is good for that. I ordered two more of the dark gray just because I like them so much and it’s a good price. They stay nice looking and wash very well. They do have pockets that are fairly deep however my (largest) iPhone has one corner that sticks out, but not enough for it to fall out of the pocket. At first, I thought I would not like the wide waistband, but I actually really like it . Super comfortable! Loose enough to not be tight on your waist, but not loose enough by any means to fall off. You can tuck your hand in there if you want it’s just the perfect amount of comfort! Not sure why just the dark gray is the Cotton poly blend, but as I said by far my favorite as far as looks and wearability. Ordered two more of the dark gray blend and again one of the cotton (light gray) for sleeping in. I don’t feel like the black cotton could look nice enough to wear out and other than sleeping, yard work etc. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the 100% cotton ... show more

These shorts are so comfortable. They are great for working out, wearing around the house, or running errands. Fit so well and are the perfect length. They last through washings as well. Highly recommend.

At first I thought they were too snug but after untying them I found that they were actually perfect! So when you get them, undo the tie and just slip those things on and be comfortable all day! I just needed something to walk the dog in, do some gardening or whatever and these are perfect for that. The length is perfect if you’re modest, and they are well made, I believe. These are just sweatshorts so if you’re looking for something to dress up or whatever, these aren’t it. But for exercising, hanging out at home, walking the dog-these are it! ... show more

I have purchased these shorts for years. I am physically challenged, and are very easy to put on, as well as pulling up an down! With this order, they have changed the way they are stitched😞. The pairs that I have put in the past had regularly stitched saeams..,making them suitable for a dressier look. They are now stitching up the side seams with a double row of stitches from a serger sewing machine. To me, they are now more of a sports wear look… not at all dressy looking😞 They are still VERY comfortable, and the price is great! ... show more

I am typically a constant size M (5'4", 135lbs) so I initially ordered these in a M. They did fit, didn't bind and weren't fitted or tight, but there wasn't much room around the hips or legs. I thought about wearing them around the house for a while to see if they stretched out, but decided against this b/c even if they did stretch out, I figured they'd probably shrink again after a wash. I returned them and ordered another pair in a L. To me, the L fits perfectly. Right out of the package, there is a looseness that is immediately comfortable. The fabric is soft and the cut is comfortable. After wearing them around for a few hours - - - sitting, walking, curling up on the sofa - - - they did indeed stretch a bit, but not so much that they feel too big. The drawstring is handy, as they are cut rather straight from hips up to the waist. Even right out of the package, I needed to use the drawstring to cinch the waist a bit. I wouldn't say they're the most flattering . . . I mean, how flattering can sweatshirt shorts be. But, they are super comfy. I'll be ordering another pair in a different color in a size Large again. ... show more

I waited until after I laundered these before writing this review. The fabric felt a little rough and I was afraid they might shrink in the dryer. But no! They washed and dried beautifully. No shrinkage and the fabric felt softer. The fit is true to size. They are very comfortable. I’ve already ordered a second pair. Highly recommend as a casual summer short!! ... show more
